"Got located to street side room with one parking garage(small car stall) unit 49 Overall room was okay. Some dirty door handles and kitchen utilities. Room it self was okay but the noise level and next door noise drove me crazy. Next door unit 50 looks like long term stay. Beer cans all over the haul way and cigarette butts every where. During sleep (late night) woke up to next doors noise. Some foul languages and cigarette smell would come in to our room I do not recommend this hotel to people...

"If you have a meeting at the Presidio, the location is hard to beat. You can roll out of bed and practically be there. Like many hotels on Lombard, this Travelodge is pretty basic. If you are looking for a clean room with a decent shower, you should be pleased. The one aspect of the room that I give a terrible rating to is the wi-fi system. It sucks. It is not a secure system, which makes it pretty hard to do certain kinds of work. It constantly requires you to sign in, and since I don't...

"Really misleading compared to the pictures. Felt like a very basic motel. Very loud noises throughout all hallways throughout the night. Thin walls, terrible lighting in rooms. No irons in rooms. Booked 6 rooms for a wedding… Would not recommend this place."

"This is a very old, historic hotel so I came to it with some skepticism. I had some family visiting from the East Coast and wanted to spend a few nights in San Francisco and usually stay in the large chain hotels. I wanted to do something out of the ordinary and this hotel looked very cool. I noticed it was built in 1908 and started to wonder about amenities and overall upkeep. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the property, rooms, breakfast area and the butterfly bar. ...

"We chose this hotel as it had great reviews and offered free parking. Although a little dated the hotel was great. A 10 minute walk to Pier 39 and close to the Cable Car stops etc. Our room was a little noisy as it overlooked the rear of "Bimbos" so we had to keep the window shut but we had aircon which we needed."

"Checking in was rough at Hotel Riu The unfriendly clerk asked for my credit card which I didn’t have on me immediately so I went out to where my husband who was in the rental car(just got off a 6 hour flight.)He came in with me and gave his card and it was approved. We both went back to our vehicle after getting our key cards and the male clerk chased behind me and said my card didn’t go through. I ( felt like a criminal)so I followed him back in. "The rooms and service and restaurants are outstanding- Quimby (Q), Leo the concierge, Ari the bellman, the entire valet team and staff were beyond welcoming. A minor note that the pool/steam are not available to hotel guests without booking a spa service. It is a wonderful property and we will be back!"
