"I wanted a quiet spot to reconnect with self and nature, and this place not disappoint. The scenery and river view were fantastic for meditation and day dreaming. The cabin was cozy and clean. The stair case up to the bed was a really tight squeeze, so I left most of my belongings downstairs. Bring wood to make a fire. I was fortunate enough somone left a few pieces behind. I look forward to returning again!"

"In town for my niece's graduation. Just needed a place to sleep as we were spending most every waking moment with family. Conveniently located, easy check in and out process. Place was cute and comfy if we were to spend more time in it."

"This is such a charming cabin. In a town that is nestled in the midst of the cascades. The river rushing by right outside makes for a lovely dining ambiance if you crack a window open in the sunroom. And the view from the hot tub is just beautiful. Was a little bummed we weren't able to see the strawberry moon, was a little too cloudy and tucked behind a mountain. But with how beautiful the rest of the town and cabin was we didn't feel that bad about missing it. I 100% would recommend this place...

"Chris hosted us for a short visit to the area. The room is clean and updated. The listing was accurate, and the bed was comfortable. I believe we were in the flight path for paine field but after a couple of early evening flyovers, it was quiet. The property is lovely and the view cannot be beat. "

"we loved this mid-century, fantasy-level retreat. Three stories, with a spa, ginormous shower, a perfect getaway for a large family or group. Big spacious rooms to share, and a sizable kitchen. Several floors offer brilliant views of both the lake and the Puget Sound & Whidbey Island: breathtaking! Everyone in our group agreed: We would all most definitely stay here again."

"Patrica and her husband were very gracious and provided timely communication throughout our stay. The property was scenic and well maintained. We received guidance and maps from the host for our interested activities. Wish we could bring our grandkids next time. Highly recommend this property. "

"Both my husband and I are actors and we were filming all week in Carnation and the surrounding area. Kate and Isaac's VRBO was the PERFECT spot for us. SPA VIBES throughout! From the little waterfall mediations in each room, the spa robes and soaking tub. HOT TUB outside and the Primary suite bed is soooooo comfortable. And I am VERY picky! Like we have had to leave places in the past because the bed was so awful. But this bed also came with SEVERAL choices of pillows. Pick what works for you....

"I enjoy staying in this vrbo when I am visiting family in Shoreline. Even though I have only stayed twice it feels very comfortable, like it is my own hide away. I will look to stay here whenever I am in town. It is quiet, clean, and in a great location."

"We had a great time in there. We enjoyed the view and it was so beautiful. There are plenty of hikes around the area if you love hiking. The kitchen supplies needed some upgrades but other than that we loved everything."

"Our large family loved the accomodations. The kiddos loved the pool and the game room (as did the adults) and also the porch. The location is great and the host was super responsive and helpful! The kids are already asking to go back :)"

"We stayed for our 6th year wedding anniversary. Quaint and cozy space, it was a delight to just unwind Highly recommend leaving the windows open as the constant roar of the river is so calming. Great cooking space, as it was open and made the place feel more spacious. Hot tub is grand."
