"The place was new inside and out, clean, and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. Really nice place to stay! Didn’t see much of Dover due to this being an overnight stop and go on our way to North Carolina outer banks. Would definitely stay there again if we were on our way through again."

Upon arrival, I did not feel safe. The parking area appeared unsecured, and the overall environment raised concerns. There were multiple individuals outside engaged in activities that made the setting uncomfortable. "Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more of a continental style. Only thing that I could suggest is setting a maintenance schedule for the batteries in the room door locks. We had an issue with not being able to get in the room upon arrival but the staff was very helpful and apologetic. They also immediately moved us to another room when the room assigned smelled like someone had smoked in it. Overall the staff was friendly and accommodating. "I love this hotel! The staff is ALWAYS friendly, even late at night which is when I usually arrive. My daughter attends DSU and it is local to the school, so this I always my hotel choice in the area. The hotel is clean and the renovations have made it even nicer."
