"The building is very old. With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan. "This is my hometown and I was visiting from Canada. Lovely room nice and clean. I ended up with an accessible room which was lovely but no drawers or cupboard to store clothes which was a bit odd. Front desk staff awesome and friendly lots of tea and coffee for the room The one gentleman in the restaurant made my stay with giving me ice and being so chipper they breakfasts are a fantastic deal I’ll be back Please consider placing fridges in the room! That was the only annoyance"

"I have stayed at this location several times and found the staff to be exceptional. Food quality was good and we enjoyed drinks from the bar. The only issue is the public parking which I found confusing to my expense. The manager as well as Kelly and Sahar were helpful and friendly."

"The property is very clean, beautiful and well refurbished and right in the heart of Marlow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food itself (breakfast) was a bit poor but OK. We didn't have any hot water to take a shower unfortunately but stayed only 1 night anyway. The room itself which was the only one available during booking was very very snug and air circulation at night made a bit stuffy but we would visit again , hopefully get a bigger room and hot water."

"Here’s a polished, short review you can post: Stayed 11th July – absolutely faultless. We were at Ascot during the day and came back to the Royal Foresters for food and football in the evening, and honestly everything was spot on. Check‑in was smooth, the room was lovely, the staff were brilliant, and the atmosphere for the match was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was huge and delicious. All in all, a solid 10/10 and we’ll definitely be back again next year."
