"The cosiest stay ever. Lovely comfy room, great food, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. Great location across from the train station to travel directly to Gatwick."

"We had a pleasant stay in Peaslake and at the Hurtwood Hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodated our requests, and in the evening we had a lovely dinner downstairs in the restaurant. The room was well equipped, with ample supplies of complimentary amenities. This was our second time staying here, and we'll certainly be back to visit the lovely forested area."

"Nice traditional hotel but very few guests in hotel or restaurant . Disappointed that a £50 card deposit taken from my Account and still not refunded almost a week later"

"Bathroom mirror lights not working, two bulbs not working in bedroom chandelier. Both halibut and sea bream overcooked for Saturday meal. Otherwise very good and excellent stay."

"Lovely scenery and hotel. BUT it was not clean. Chairs were dirty and we could not sit on them"

"Good"
