"Absolutely outstanding.. booked to go to reggae land festival with my daughter for 3 nights . From the first day we were spoilt rotten. Big selection for breakfast and no request is to much .. "The stay was brilliant. Steve and Annette were very welcoming and accommodating and made it very easy for us to check in out of hours. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfy. 2 extra pillows had been stored in the cupboard and were very useful. "In an attempt to avoid travelling in the heat, we arrived very early. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to provide drinks. We decided to stay for lunch and were not disappointed with the food. Steaks being cooked to perfection, with desserts of sticky toffee pudding and brownie being to die for! When we did get to go to our room, we found it more than adequate, very clean and tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge to store our own goodies. There was ample wardrobe space...

"The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I stayed here after ReggaeLand and was so impressed. The hotel was clean and bed comfy, Breakfast was delicious and hot and well presented. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. "

"Had room overlooking canal basin. Very hot but fan in room. Fridge microwave and crockery provided with list of local takeaways. Was Stonehouse restaurant next door which was ok as no onsite restaurant. Steep stairs to first floor and no lift seen. Parking ok. "
