"We stayed for one night, also having dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, the dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and delicious. It was great to see the bar /restaurant buzzing with locals and others staying there. Staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay and located well for exploring. "

"Lovely hotel, conveniently located just off the M5, yet very accessible to reach the city centre by bus. Ample parking, which was also reasonably priced. The staff were super helpful giving us directions to get to the bus stop (just across the road) and which numbers we needed to look out for to reach the city centre. Breakfast was lovely, with a huge variety of food. The lift was a bit slow so we ended up using the stairs instead as we were on the first floor. Modern and super clean look. ...

"Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to."

"Well located for shops and both Exeter Main and St. Davids railway stations. My room was compact but well thought out and well equipped. It was great to have a light next to the bed which you could turn off/on easily and the shower was good. Breakfast was first class, beautifully served and coffee one of the best. I would have liked more savoury options for the breakfast but that is just a small preference. Host was really helpful and very welcoming. I would stay here again."

"I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. The air conditioning in our room was not working, which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially as there were no windows that could be opened for ventilation. The bar staff were also very unhelpful. They seemed reluctant to serve customers and repeatedly told us they had run out of ingredients for mocktails. The overall service felt poor and unwelcoming.
