Wisconsin Dells Cabin in the Woods

Located in the middle of everything Dells, you can easily reach all Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton attractions. This Cabin is in the middle of 2/3 an acre of untouched woods and natural beauty. It has 160 ft of water frontage with Dells Creek. There is a Beach and Canoe rental shop just in front at Newport Park! Recently remodeled with WIFI in mind, you'll enjoy a modern entertainment center, electric fireplace, reclining sofa, breakfast nook, electric appliances, and newer washer & dryer.

Canoe, Beach and Boat Launch right across the street at Newport Park! This Cabin sits atop a hill about 100 ft from Dells Creek. Water from Lake Delton empties into the Wisconsin River by way of this Creek. You'll have access to 160 ft of Creek frontage to enjoy nature's wildlife and fishing. You'll likely spot an eagle as they like to fish from the Creek. Ducks and geese are plentiful. Deer will likely be spotted at nightfall when they come out to feed and you may see them running and playing very early at daybreak. Next to Newport Park is River's Edge Resort with boat rentals and a fish bait shop. Conveniently grab your minnows and/or night crawlers for your fishing needs! Only remember not to clean fish indoors on sink or tub. Clean fish outdoors. The driveway to the Cabin is narrow and will not accommodate a trailer and boat.

:> Outdoor Grill: Bring charcoal for the outdoor park-style grill.
:> Netflix is available for guests to sign in. If you find Netflix already signed in on an account that does not belong to you, do not change the Plan, Language nor Maturity settings.
:> Beds: There is a total of five (5) beds. The sofa bed is queen size. The bunk bed is twin on top and full on bottom. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The "single bed" is a fold-out chair bed.
:> Thermostat is remotely controlled but guests can adjust temperature for comfort. Leave fan at "auto" or "circulate" settings. Do not set fan to "on" for continuous running.
:> Firepit: Most local convenience stores sell bundled wood for burning. You may grab whatever brush and fallen tree limbs you can find in the nearby wooded area.
:> Covid19: Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to both clean and also disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Good place to gather and rest our bodies after skiing. After booking, disappointed that the owner added an additional 100 fee for snow removal and possible extra heating because of cold temps. Since there was no snow, and the temps stayed in the thirties, I will be reaching out for reimbursement for the additional fee.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and updated. The property was expansive with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy nature. It was the perfect size for two family’s of three. We saw tons of bird species while fishing from the bank. We utilized the fire pit and were able to walk across the street for drinks and a pizza. The communication was great and check in was a breeze. We had a great stay and will look to stay again.

The place was wonderful! It’s a beautiful cabin, very well taken care of. The whole property is just beautiful. The location was perfect, closed to so many attractions and great food. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Overall, this place helped make our trip perfect!

This was our second year staying at this cabin. Appreciated the new outdoor chairs on the deck and near the fire pit. The only issues this time were that wasn't ready by the promised check-in time (good communication about this though) and the minimal amount of some of the provided necessities. There was only about a roll and a half of toilet (barely enough for three people over the course of a week) and three rolls of paper towels (each with just a few sheets left on it). Overall our stay was good.

Our door code didn’t work right away but we got it squared away after about 15 minutes. The house was very clean. The wifi password on the listing is not correct and we searched high and low for the guest book which was found after texting the host for the password. The Queen bed was downright hard and pillows uncomfortable. The only “extra” items in the kitchen were pepper (no salt) and coffee filters. Bathroom and kitchen sinks drained very slowly. Our advice is NOT to park under the walnut trees as the squirrels made a huge mess dropping them and “juices” on my car. 2 car washes and bucket wash and it’s finally clean. We tried using the hose to wash some of it off, but the hose leaks a lot. We were provided 1 extra roll of TP so make sure you add that to your packing list!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the cabin. Its conveniently located along the creek and across the road from the beach. The inside was super cozy and we felt right at home. It was very clean. In the mornings, while washing dishes, i was able to watch deer directly out the window. In the evenings we were able watch them wander around the yard. It was stunning

The cabin was in a great location -close to everything, but away from all the chaos. Loved the creek in the backyard and the deer and crane that frequented it. Bring your Thermocells and bug spray, though, because with out them, you will not be able to sit on the deck, enjoy the firepit, or fish in the creek. The owner would be wise to treat the property for mosquitos. Also, they have a ton of firewood, but they are all large pieces, so either bring an ax to make smaller pieces to start the fire, or buy a bundle of firewood for kindling and a firestarter. If you have more than 4 people, bring dinnerware - the kitchen only has 4 place settings of plates/bowls. Also, there are no steak knives, and the large knives are as dull as butter knives. The place seems clean at first glance, but could use a good deep cleaning - lots of dead mosquito-like bugs around, cobwebs in the windowsills, dirty walls, etc. Bring your own paper towels and an extra roll of toilet paper (we only had 2 rolls). Those are all little nit-picky things, but worth mentioning. We enjoyed our stay there, we wanted a little, cozy cabin for our family of three, and that was what we got! Also, Land of Natura is a fabulous waterpark, if you have kids that would like a ninja-warrior-like course of floating inflatables, get the 2-day pass! Of all the waterparks in the Dells, we went there twice!

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I had a great time staying there. This cabin’s location is far enough away to be out of the main hustle and bustle of the Dells yet still conveniently close to everything. The accommodations were clean, up to date and very comfortable. Would definitely want to stay here again!

We had a very nice time here. As stated, it’s incredibly close, yet removed, from all of the major Dells attractions. We really loved the property. Sitting by the creek in the backyard and watching the wildlife and the Duck boats leaving the river was very pleasant! The cabin itself was clean and perfect for our family of three and our dog. The park across the street on the Wisconsin river was great. We took our kid to the beach and he had a blast while we relaxed. There is also a small playground there which he enjoyed. Also-the restaurant right there was not bad at all and very convenient. One small suggestion-a roll of paper towels and box of Kleenex per stay would be appreciated by guests and a very small expense.Thank you!
