This rental worked very well for our family trip to the dells. It was very clean and the communication from property management helped us prepare for the trip. We spent one evening at the indoor pool and had the entire pool to ourselves. We enjoyed taking our dog for walks on the trails behind the property. It was conveniently located for our day trips to downtown dells, devils lake and Delton.

Great with a bit of a hiccup

The house was very well kept, clean, and spacious. The big issue that we had was the hot water was practically nonexistent. We called the first day of our stay for assistance and maintenance did stop by. However, the next morning we continued to have issues. Only one out of the 7 of us was able to take a quick shower and the hot water completely ran out. We called several times and left voicemails asking for maintenance to come back out, but nobody ever contacted back. We were very disappointed with how that was handled. Other than that, we were pleased with the house and would rent again as long as there was hot water

Great fire pit and location!

We really enjoyed the fire pit and backyard with the falling leaves. The king bed in the master was soft and comfortable. There were a few issues which will hopefully be addressed soon: 1. The oven doesn't work, 2. The cold water tap on the big tub in the master bath doesn't work, 3. There is a strong mildew or mold odor at the sink next to the shower in the master bath, 4. The toaster only works if you hold the lever down, 5. The internet connection is painfully slow so bring a book or a board game, 6. Firewood from the office was very damp and would not burn so bring your own, dry wood. We still managed to enjoy our stay but we are easy going and resourceful. The location was also perfect for our needs.

Loved the space and king beds. Deck, grill and firepit were nice to use. Quiet

Cozy cabin was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans. Beautiful view of the deck and firepit from the patio door in the kitchen. There were some soft spots in the floor in front of the kitchen sink and by the guest toilet. Neighborhood was very quiet with nice walking trails.

Perfect Dells Getaway

We had such a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. We were able to balance quiet time in nature with WI Dells attractions not too far away. And the amenities tied to the Spring Brook Golf Course made our stay extra special. We could tell the property owners really take pride in their place, and we were grateful to be able to share it and make some great family memories.

Perfect!

We really enjoyed this house. It was nice and spacious, perfect for 3 families. The beds were so comfortable! We had a chef with us & the kitchen was perfect. Highly recommend:-) We will be back!

The Good vs the Bad

THE GOOD. Layout of the house nice! Very spacious. Bed mattresses very comfortable. Nice hot tub. Nice closet space. Nice location. Nice laundry. THE BAD. Carpet stains. Looks like not shampooed in a while. Tables very uncomfortable. Back yard smells like a sewer. Did not use fire pit due to stench and mosquitoes. Ran out of hot water wednesday evening.

House had a great layout...everyone had a king bed. The toilets should be upgraded. The floor in the entry and dining room needed to be mopped. But, it was a very spacious, comfortable house.

Very comfortable and peaceful!

Overall everything was great - just a few minor things to mention for future improvement. The pots, pans and knives are old and need to be replaced. At night when walking down the stairs off of the deck to the firepit it is very dark - all that would be needed is two solar lights installed at the bottom of the stairs and there would be enough light to avoid any trips or falls. We had a lovely time and enjoyed your home very much. Thank you.

Great place...only a few minor complaints

1. Not as updated as the pictures look. Outdated range that didn’t cook very even. 2. Pots and pans need to be replaced. 3. There was only 1 kitchen towel. 4. The hot tub/pool area was 1/2 mile away which was just far enough to make us not consider using them. Overall it was a good place stay for the weekend.

Dated, but clean

The house was in clean condition. We did find that there were a few spots in the floor that lower than the rest. In one of the bedrooms there was an obvious hole underneath the carpeting. Many of the doors didn't shut correctly and we had trouble locking the doors from the inside. The dishwasher worked, but need a couple of cycles to get the dishes clean. We would have liked to see a few more things provided. 1) Dishwashing scrubbers, 2) Laundry soap and dryer sheets 3) salt/pepper 4) general cleaner (Windex) 5) Paper towels. The pans that were left for us weren't fully cleaned and suspect it's because there wasn't anything to clean with. We had snow and it was nice to see someone come out and shovel the snow for us first thing in the morning. That was a nice touch. The clubhouse, restaurant and pool were very clean and offered a nice selection of menu items. When we arrived, the washing machine had someone else's dirty clothes in it. I would have thought the cleaning crew would have caught that. We brought the items to clubhouse and though they apologized, I would have thought they would have done a little more. (i.e. free drink/meal) The photos did not match the current condition of the home. The siding is now a lighter color, there were no headboards in the bedrooms. Some of the cabinets in the photos no longer exist in the home. Specifically the upper cabinets that separate the dining room from the foyer and the bookcase near the whirlpool tub in the master bath. There are no longer any curtains in the home; just blinds. It's not a huge deal, but I think the photos should match what is being rented. All in all the area was nice and the resort was good. If we were to come back, I think we'd check out a different property and request current photos.
