Great place and setting in old town. Skied down the road to the shuttle and skied over the tracks back to the house. Kitchen and amenities were very good.

Property was ok but the kitchen had 3 bags of trash in the floor and one of the showers still had wet towels left in it. Trash was outside around the hot tub.
Could not safely pull in garage because of the build up of ice in front of the door.
Dangerous amount of ice and snow hanging over the entrance of the porch.
The house was ok but it is in need of some TLC.

I definitely wouldn't call this property luxurious. It is overpriced. There was some trash on the floor and the trash had not been taken out. It was still full. There was not enough soap, shampoo, or toilet paper for our stay. For the price we paid it should have been. There was no code to open the garage and when we called management about it, they didn't know it either. The location is pretty good, but you do have to hike up a hill that is fairly steep in the snow to get to the mountain.

We really enjoyed this home in winter park. We needed a lot of space for our family. We had 6 adults, 3 kids, 1 infant and there was more than enough space for us all. We used the trail near the house to get to the base of winter park resort for skiing and rented a locker at the resort for $25 a day to store all of our gear. To get to the trail, take a left out of the house, walk until the dead end, go up steep hill (a little too steep to walk in ski boots), once you reach the top walk to the right and cross the railroad tracks and up to the base of the resort. Great location to avoid having to drive because the walk from the parking lot to the ski area is a longer walk than going from the house. The add-on living area and upstairs area had trouble heating up, but the hosts were super quick to respond and brought multiple space heaters to fix the issue quickly. The two living areas makes it great for kids and adults to both have a space to hang out. Kitchen is fully stocked which was very helpful, and we used the Grocery Guys delivery service so that we had groceries stocked upon arrival. The host was also very accommodating for early check in/late check out upon availability with no additional charge. Could not recommend this home more— you can’t beat the price for the space, location, and convenience. Hope to stay again!!

We booked this property for our family of 10 for a 3-day weekend in the mountains. We drove 11 hours from Oklahoma and were welcomed to this beautiful property and is the best stocked kitchen we have ever been in at a rental! It was beautiful scenery and peaceful - We were sad to see the fireplace was not working once we arrived, but we enjoyed the weekend regardless. We will rebook!

Great house with plenty of room. Stayed with my wife and 3 kids. Close enough to the slopes to walk. It's about a 5 minute walk to the slopes that gets you to the Gemini lift. Have to walk up a steep bank, but after that it is flat. This house is in the old town area, very quiet and secluded. Kitchen was great if you are looking to prepare meals at home. Would rent again.

Property was exactly how it is advertised. Short walk to bus shuttle for access to slopes. Lovely deck area. Spacious updated kitchen. Nice to have two living areas and garage access to well appointed mud area for ski boots, coats, etc. Bedrooms are a nice size and equipped with humidifiers and fans, which is a very nice perk. Bathrooms a little on the small size (not a lot of space to unpack your toiletries) but at least there are 3 full bathrooms, so that was nice. Laundry room upstairs. May want to freshen linens and check into a new shower base in bathroom attached to primary bedroom. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would book this location again. Rental agency was very easy to work with and accommodating. The chalet is a perfect spot for a large family ski trip because it has 5 bedrooms and anything at Winter Park base only has 2 or 3 bedrooms at most.

This house was perfect in all ways. It was roomy, well stocked and just as described in the listing. It was about a five or six minute walk to the closest lift and there is a trail you can take that keeps you from having to walk down the road. Coming back to the house we were able to ski back via another shortcut trail., so that was a bonus! The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day on the slopes. I highly recommend this house.

We would stay here year round if we could afford it! Great house layout. Private hot tub next to a babbling brook. We really like how this house feels like a home with all amenities (kitchen utensils/pots/pans/etc were well stocked, we enjoyed the board game selection, etc) as opposed to a condo with the very bare essentials. We had minor issues (low heat, bulbs burned out, etc) that the management company was quick to resolve. The walk to the ski slopes is not ideal, but not terrible. We stayed for four days and typically came back to the condo for lunch, so we made multiple trips back and forth. We got in the habit of unzipping our coats, removing our gloves/balaclavas/etc for the 10 minute or so walk to the lifts so we didn't overheat. From the condo, you take a left out of the front door, walk down the road a bit until it dead-ends, go up a boot-packed snow trail (which is fairly steep - when wearing ski boots, we found it helpful to use a ski pole as a walking stick for balance), cut through a railroad equipment storage area, cross the railroad tracks and then the nearest ski lift is the "Gemini Express" (but we usually passed that and walked or ski-skated to the Gondola). On the way back to the condo, there is an option to ski down a steep embankment that is down the tracks a bit near a telephone pole (further from the Gemini Express), which makes getting to the condo easier, but is pretty steep (black or double-black steep). On the way back, you can also walk down the same boot-packed snow trail, too. All in all, it's a great location, but takes a minor bit of effort to get to chairlift. The house is well appointed and I recommend it.

We had an ok experience, it is a great house there were just some big misses for us as well. The heat wasn’t working great, but the management company brought over space heaters, they were very communicative and easy to get in touch with. The biggest thing for us was the hot tub was absolutely disgusting! There were old limes in it, and lots of stuff floating! When we told them of this, they just added more chlorine, that was a big bummer for us! Lastly, the fireplace wasn’t working! We were upset by these items. Overall it was a good stay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Overall, we were satisfied with the property. We stayed at the home the first real cold week of the year, including -20s overnight. The home’s heating system was vastly inadequate to keep the home at a comfortable temperature. Additionally, the fireplace was inoperable during our stay, which would have helped. It was 54* when we arrived and we didn’t get it over 60* until the property management delivered space heaters. We had to run 6+ space heaters to keep the home at a tolerable temperature, which lead to frequent blown breakers- more annoying than troublesome. All that said, the property management was responsive and did provide the space heaters. I have been coming to Winter Park this same week for +15 years and have never had a similar issue with a heating system. We enjoyed the hot tub and the upgraded kitchen.

The house was lovely and probably gives a great first impression when snow-covered. When we drove by it we were concerned because of the weeds,, or what looked like weeds, in the front and side yards. It just did not looked groomed. And we do rent houses all the time but not in this area. Happily, the house was great, the creek was fun, everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and we were happy to see that there were actually some spices and extras in the cabinets.

Loved the house! Home was extremely clean with a really nice tv/sitting area. The home has beautiful decor along with a great kitchen. Kids and parents enjoyed sitting on patio by river and in the hot tub!!

Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una vacación increíble !! Limpia y en excelentes condiciones . Muy cerca de la montaña y el río qué pasa a un lado está hermoso .
Los cuartos con las literas tienen opción a sacar un colchón extra .
La cocina Tiene todo lo necesario, platos y vasos de plástico para los niños .
La distribución de los cuartos no es muy clara en las fotos , en la planta baja a un lado de la cocina hay un cuarto con una cama twin y baño completo . Las otras 4 recámaras están en el segundo piso junto con el laundry room.

A great rental for family and friends.
The hot tub was one of the BEST we have ever had in a rental. Plenty of linens provided and a full size W/D was greatly appreciated by our group of 9. The kitchen was very well stocked.
The listing doesn’t make clear the bed arrangement so here is what is currently in the house.
Upstairs: BR #1 One King, insuite bath with shower only.
BR #2 One King
BR #3 Bunk has twin on top and Full on bottom. There is also an extra twin mattress under the bunk that can be pulled out if you don’t want to climb up.
BR#4 Bunk has Full on top and Full on Bottom. This bunk also has an extra twin mattress stored underneath.
There is one small bathroom in the hallway with a tub/shower combo
