"Everything about staying at the riverbank repose was exactly what we needed!! It was an easy check in and check out process. Also, there was everything we could ever need or think of in the apartment. The yard was beautiful and although we didn’t have much time to use the fire pit area, I loved that we had access to it! We came from Alberta and it truly was a home away from home! Thank you to the wonderful hosts!"

"Was a beautiful property nice beach although the stairs going down to it were dangerous they need to be rebuilt also bbq tanks were empty cost me 40 dollars to get a tank One of my friends stepped on a fastener going down steps it went through his shoe and into his foot overall it was a great stay"

"Had an awesome stay at this place There was no pool, however we enjoyed the beach, hottub and the the ambience it created for a night with campire fire and beautiful calm neighborhood. "

"We had a fabulous stay at this property. The location is fantastic and easy to get to. The cottage itself is beautiful, very new and clean!! All the rooms and shared living spaces were spacious and clean. Plenty of showers and bathrooms which made it easy for a group of 10. And lots to do with the available amenities and the large backyard. The beach was also fantastic. Private and shallow enough. Only draw back is the steps to the beach which is clearly stated in the booking so it was...

"The cottage is worth the price. The wide lake view is amazing. We were 4 families who spent 2 nights at this cottage. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints, except that the bedding were not made when we arrived. Probably they were not changed since the previous guests left. We found some extra bedding in the closets but were not fresh. Except this part all our stay was pleasant."

"My partner and I visited the Newgate Estate for our anniversary, and it was a time we will never forget! The house was perfect. It was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location to walk to the town centre or head over to the beach. We were on the hunt for a pet-friendly rental to bring our dog, and this was the ideal house to have him tag along! The fenced backyard was perfect, he spent so much time out there exploring all the new smells and playing fetch. I would recommend this house to anyone...

"Just like it says…cozy log cabin! Has all amenities with utmost charm. Quiet peaceful and suited 5 adults just fine! Dinners in backyard under screened in gazebo great to keep wasps out. Has toys for kids and dog if family coming. 10min drive to main beach Goderich and walkable smaller beach end of road and down steep path. Ok for most adults unless you have some mobility issues walking. Great bakeries in Goderich! Sunsets stunning …love Lake Huron. Thank you Leslie and Steve for hosting us!"

"We checked in pretty late due to traffic. But we had Wayne come out and give us the run down on the place. He didn't leave anything out. The communication with the host was unmatched. Super friendly and amazing the whole stay. If we needed anything they were there right away. The even brought out toys for our daughter to play with. Would definitely stay here again. "The rooms are clean, plenty of towels. There are four bedrooms upstairs with their own en suite bathroom. There are two other rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom all very comfortable. there is another bedroom on the main floor that looks like it was once a large dining room. They can sleep a bunch of kids, but there’s no bathroom. They need to walk upstairs. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great outdoor fireplace with firewood supplied.
