"Great place to stay while we were visiting family in Matthews. The description of the property was spot on. Very comfortable beds, great eclectic vibe, and plenty of space to spread out. We would definitely stay again. "

"We hosted our 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Retreat in the Woods. Christina was amazing to deal with. Property was amazing and a perfect spot for our get together. The outdoor patio area fit our needs perfectly. Highly recommend this property if you have any large group get together."

"My family and I booked this home at the last minute for a wedding we had other accommodations that fell through at the last minute and Bernadette was more than willing to accommodate us. The home is extremely clean and comfortable. My little one loved the lights! Bernadette over communicates which I loved! Shower ran hot and my little one slept like an 12 hour shift was worked lol we loved the no shoes in the house policy the carpet was beyond nice and soft! I didn’t get many pictures just the...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and towels for the six of us. The pool was a game changer with temperature hovering around the century mark. Hot tub was an added bonus. Chuck, the owner, always responded quickly to all of our questions. Grocery and other stores nearby in easy driving distance."

"This studio was perfect in every way for our stay in Matthews. We had everything we needed and the wonderful bonus of watching the chickens. This was a real pleasure for a couple of country folks. Note however: there are stairs to enter this unit. You need to be able to do that."
