"The owner was really friendly and welcoming. I travel a lot and this was one of the best places I've been as far as staff and attitude goes. The room was perfect with everything you need in the kitchenette. Warm room and electric blanket. All very clean and with a lovely NZ wilderness mural on the wall. The shower pressure was AMAZING! The gardens were beautiful. I will certainly be back. "

"The staff was superb. Our luggage did not arrive from Auckland and Air New Zealand had it sent to the hotel. The front desk had it waiting in our room for just us. The actual room was beyond what we expected, coming from the US and not knowing the hotel location, it exceeded what we thought. Two beautiful rooms that were well-appointed with a porch with chairs Snd outdoor tabke awaiting our last evening‘s coffee."
