"My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this...

"Loved the cabin. Very convenient to Harpers Ferry and Sheperdstown, both just a short drive away. The cabin was very clean and suited our needs for the short time we were there. Nice little walk down to the Potomac for a great view of the river. We didn't get to use the firepit due to it raining both days we were there. Looking forward to returning sometime in the future. "

"The cottage was perfect for our quick getaway. Close to Shenandoah Valley National Park and the caverns. Love the porches and views. The space felt bigger than the photos even show! All the amenities we needed were available and the space was very comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit."

"The perfect mountain home for a relaxing getaway! The proximity to the Front Royal Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park and the town was a plus! We saw deer (with a baby), rabbits, and tons of beautiful birds on the property.The house is nicely updated with all the amenities one could want. "The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning...
