Tradewinds Private Room 1 of 2

We have two separate rental rooms available. Each have their own private entrance from the outside of the residence as well as their own private full baths. Both rooms have a mini-frig, microwave, and coffeepot. Internet is provided.

We are located within walking distance of the famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk where there are many restaurants, Bars, Charter Boats, and many other attractions. There is always lots of live entertainment and we will be happy to make suggestions based on your food and music taste.

We also own a charter fishing business called Southern Sportfishing. We have 1/2 day, 3/4 day, and Full day offshore trips available.

Other nearby attractions include Kure Beach, Fort Fisher Aquarium, Civil War Museum, and the Fort Fisher Ferry which travels to Southport and Bald Head Island numerous times daily.

If you are interested in Kayaking, Bike rentals, Surf lessons, Paddle Boarding, or Golf Cart rentals we can help you with your arrangements.

FYI : We have a dog on premises. He stays inside our home but is never allowed in the rental rooms.

Lovely stay

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this property. It was clean, easy to check in, responsive owner, and good location. The neighborhood walk into town for breakfast or dinner was great and was about .8 a mile. It was easy to find, good parking, and had what you need for a simple room to stay in. If you wanted to go to the beach and were carrying stuff (chairs, umbrellas, books etc), I would recommend driving and parking in town. Enjoyed exploring Carolina beach and Kure beach. Felt like the property was represented well in the listing. Highly recommend the aquarium and Havana’s—both highlights for our trip when exploring this new area.

Beach hideaway

Everything thing was like it was mentioned in the article. Very little distractions from the owners while we were in the room. The room was very clean and well maintained. Only negative is that you don’t have control of the temperature in the room. Other than that would recommend and will be booking again.

Clean and easy

We go to Fort Fisher so we did not need to be in walking distance so this was perfect. The room was very clean. The landlord very responsive although we never saw them (that was fine with us, we didn't need anything). The room was small but more than adequate. We had a great weekend!

Great Stay!

This place was perfect! It's in a cool little neighborhood, about a mile from the beach. Very clean place, and the added touches of having paper plates and cutlery, coffee pot, and a water jug were really fantastic. Andy, the owner, was great to work with and asked several times if everything was ok. Will definitely stay here again!
