King, Pets+, Near concerts, downtown, and UNCW, Private Suite

Whether you’re on vacation or business, we'd like to extend a warm southern welcome. We have a large, separate but attached private studio with private code entrance, private bathroom with a small shower, king bed, and bunk bed (single & double beds). This is a centrally located (north Wilm) attached mother-in-law suite in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood 10 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, UNCW, downtown Wilmington, Mayfaire shopping center, movie studio and airport.

Included are a mini-fridge, microwave, electric skillet, coffee maker and coffee bean grinder, wifi, and television with Disney +, Max, and Netflix. We have a play kitchen for children and games for everyone.

This studio is self-sufficient so access is to your suite only. There's a patio just outside for smoking. Your rooms are private from the house.

My wife loved the suit April build. It’s amazing, spacious, clean and she has everything you need if you happen to forget something. It’s pet friendly and April is such a great host! I mean she thought of everything from beach toys, supplies, towels and toiletries. It was last minute for me with getting work off and the pricing was perfect. Thank you so much April and can’t wait to come back

Location was great. Communication was fine. Size of place fine, bed slept good. Shower was too small for a frown man. The place was very nasty or should I say an uncleaned unit. The air condition vents had so much dust in them that we could hardly breathe. And I think that was part of what made the place so dirty and dusty. Would be a great little place if it was thoroughly cleaned!

April was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The suite was very tidy and check in process was very easy and smooth. She was very understanding when our dogs would get a little noisy. We appreciate how sweet she was and would highly recommend that anyone looking for a pet friendly VRBO to stay here.

Spent a wonderful 4 days 4 nights. April was wonderful and made sure to check in to make sure I had everything I needed. The space was comfortable, cozy, and was pretty much perfect.

We came to the Wilmington area to attend a concert at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater and go to the beach a few times with the dog. This place was exactly as depicted in the photos, the host was very accommodating, and the location was perfect for where we wanted to go. The amount of space and the features of the room were accurately shown in the photos; a very large main bed as well as a bunk bed (which we didn't use), a small couch that served as a good place to sit down and change shoes, a coffee station full of all the needed items, and a dining table with four chairs. The bathroom is small but usable, and the closet contains a dresser and a minifridge. April let us know in advance about the local rules for taking dogs on the beach so I was able to plan ahead and knew which areas we'd be able to go; at Carolina beach, for example, dogs are not allowed until after 5pm during the season so we only went there on our first night and went instead to the state park for the other days. There were tons of very good local restaurants within 30 minutes in every direction!

My three teenagers and I had a great stay at April’s studio rental. The location is convenient, the space is well appointed, and we had a great stay. April’s communication is great. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Huge room with plenty of space. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Big fluffy towels, nice coffee pot, dining table, small fridge. Everything we needed and more. And the biggest plus… April was very accommodating. And communication with her was super easy. We will definitely be back!

We were in Wilmington for two nights to see friends. This property more than met our expectations. Very private, quiet, and in a nice neighborhood. We never met April, but she was very attentive to any needs that may arise during our stay. We didn't have any needs and would definitely stay here again.
