This beautiful property is on the sunny side of Nancy Lake, which is 60 miles North of Anchorage. The spotless villa is furnished with everything you will need for your lake vacation, including linens, kitchen appliances, dishes, stove, microwave, internet access, TV/DVD. Reserve your week now!

-Three decks overlooking the lake
-Two bedrooms - one with two queens the other with one queen
-Additionally, the loft area will accommodate one or two more sleepers on the double futon
-Dock with canoe, paddle boat, two paddle boards, and four kayaks
-Wide path for snow machines leading directly from circular driveway down to lake
-Flat, woodsy areas for play and soaking up the sun
-Trees and forest all around this beautiful setting
-Outdoor fire-pit area (for roasting those marshmallows!)
-TV with VCR/DVD/X-Box 360
- Free high-speed internet access (Wi-Fi)

Favorite Activities (as reported by our guests): ON THE PROPERTY -- swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, waterskiing, hiking, fishing, sitting around the pit-fire to roast marshmallows, snow-machining, sledding, reading (great books available in our library), playing board games, cards, or the electronic game system, barbecuing delicious meals, watching movies (large selection in our video library) on the flatscreen TV, and relaxing in comfortable chairs on the decks or dock as you enjoy the gorgeous views.

OFF THE PROPERTY (driving distance) -- fishing (world-class fishermen have been our guests!), river rafting, walking on a glacier, 4-wheeling, horse-back riding, mountain biking, visiting the musk-ox farm, dog-sled teams, goldmines, museums, Denali (Mt. McKinley), Palmer, Wasilla, Hatcher's Pass, and Talkeetna.

We had a wonderful time! The hand sprayer for the kitchen faucet broke & the owner came almost right away. The communication was prompt & accurate, very responsive. This is the second time we’ve stayed there & will def stay again. We’ve only been in the winter but can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Thank you!

A slice of paradise!

I almost don't want to leave a review to keep this place a secret but its worth sharing. The location is quiet which is what we wanted but being on the lake there's lots to do.The owners were onsite and very respectful our of time but they are also very kind and sweet.The kitchen is well stocked that we were able to prepare family meals. We didn't have to worry about not having an essential cooking tool. Did i mention this was our second time staying, we knew we wanted to come back last visit and are already thinking about our next return trip.

Awesome Getaway

My sister and I and our husbands, brought our mom and dad (dad will be 80). This was the last of the 50 states he had to visit. He mentioned multiple times that this was by-far his favorite. (The Villa was perfect. Full of Amenities)

Texas to Alaska!

Driving from Texas to Alaska, the Nancy Lake Villa was a great 5 day break. Clean and well equipped home on the lake. The owners were super friendly, and very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area.

I will start with the positive. It was absolutely beautiful, the house and the lake. The location is perfect for taking day trips to see the sights like Denali and Hatcher pass. The villa is fully stocked and the views are stunning. Should be noted the listing said there was a jetted bathtub, there is not. But if you are looking for any sense of privacy or relaxation this is not the place for you. Let me preface by saying it is their place and I understand they may run it as they wish but the listing was nothing like the reality of the place, just be honest so we can go elsewhere. The listing makes it look like a solo villa with a private dock right out front. This was not the case. You are in a horseshoe of other small houses owned and occupied by the owners and their friends and family. One place is literally 8 feet away. The listing says strictly no pets or partying - awesome! But what they actually mean is none of that for you because their untrained dogs will be running all over the property, barking and jumping. While you try to enjoy the lake you get to listen to them ask the dogs, “did you poop?” at least 50 times. Their adult kids dock is about 15 feet away from yours and they will be outside partying all day into the night with tons of people coming and going on the lake. We felt every time we went out on the porch or went in the yard we were literally running into someone. The dock is also down a very steep hill that is not in the listing. We will not be back.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time at the villa! The cabin was well provisioned. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals as well as many staple foods that other vacationers have left (all products were still in date), as well as more than enough toilet paper and paper towels. The cabin has canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and boards to enjoy the beautiful Nancy Lake! Jim & Theresa were wonderful, friendly hosts and their dog Willow was a great ambassador to get our doggie fix in! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Alaskan getaway!

Nancy Lake Villa is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to experience an Alaskan getaway! The lake is absolutely beautiful and all the lake toys were a huge hit with our kids, especially the paddle boards. The villa was clean, neat, and in good working order. It was also well stocked with everything we could need - no need to run out for extra anything!!! The hosts were very friendly and helpful with advice for our day trips. Jim also helped fillet the Pike we caught on the lake and it was delicious! The location was great for a variety of day trips like Talkeetna, Denali, and the Matanuska Glacier. The drive to Hatcher's Pass started just up the road and was one of the most beautiful and scenic parts of our trip. We all had a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend the Nancy Lake Villa.

Senior Girl’s Getaway

We endured a very long travel day to fulfill a bucket wish to discover and explore Alaska! We only had a week but we’re able to go north of this wonderful camp to Denali and south for an all day boat trip to see the glaciers out of Whittier… our hosts were terrific and friendly!! Perfect set up on beautiful Nancy Lake…even though it rained most of our stay, we all had an exceptional and memorable vacation! They were very helpful with directions and eateries… and played pickleball!!!

this property is absolutely marvelous. The cabin is pretty, restful, and inviting. we were astonished at the thoughtfulness of the owners. Every item in a kitchen one could want, lots of water toys, and comfortable furnishings. Jim & Theresa are delightful and we enjoyed both of them and their lovely rental.

Nice Stay for First Time Alaska

We chose Jim and Theresa's villa for all the water sport activities offered right here at our own dock and that did not disappoint! We were missing a paddle one day so all 4 of us could kayak, and Jim promptly went out the next morning to buy one. I don't think I've ever met a more caring, concerned, and accommodating owner! I've stayed in several VRBO's over the years, and this is the first time that the owner was also present on the property. The upside of that was he was available to ask questions to frequently and was able to advise us on where to go, sites to see, etc. One thing I wasn't expecting was other family members and friends to be staying on the property while we were here too. All were respectful, but it felt like a revolving door of different people, and it made it a little busier (and at times noiser) than I would have preferred. Because of that, it wasn't as relaxing for me. I'm not sure if we just happened to get a busy week, or if it's like this all the time. Most would probably not be bothered by that, but if you are coming to Alaska to be left alone, this is probably not the best place. Otherwise, I enjoyed talking with Jim. He's a super nice and honest man. You can tell it's a bit of a hobby of his to host people (family, friends, and VRBO guests), and he prides himself on making sure you are enjoying yourself. It's hard to go wrong with that. Thank you, Jim and Theresa!

Wonderful experience!

Our stay exceeded our expectations! We were celebrating my son’s high school graduation and 18th birthday. It was a trip of a lifetime! The cabin was gorgeous. It had everything we needed and more. Jim and Theresa were so kind and accommodating. We loved Alaska! This cabin made it even better!
