"The cottage was perfect for a two night stay with our Golden Retriever. The location was ideal for morning and evening walks through the beautiful neighborhood. We walked to dinner each night, and were able to enjoy the old historic homes and see everyone getting ready for the holiday season. We missed the tree lighting downtown by one weekend, however we hope to come back next year and if the cottage is available we will definitely stay there again. "My cabin was a step back in time. Everything was clean and maintained, except the door lock. I could not get my door to lock from the inside, but there was a security latch at the top that I used instead of the deadbolt. I was satisfied with my stay. The room had a slight musty smell that might bother someone with allergies, but the air conditioning made it quite tolerable for me."
