Luxury Escape at the Estate at Williamston near MSU

This luxurious 7000 sq ft country estate on 35 private picturesque acres has been tastefully arranged into three separate rental units, each with it’s own private entrance and no shared indoor spaces. Come and enjoy The Luxury Escape with an exquisite living room with hand carved black walnut fireplace, 2 bedrooms, game room (can be 3rd bedroom) luxury bath w/ soaking tub and sauna, and functional kitchenette. Three porches (1 private) allow you to take in the beauty and serenity of this special location.

The Estate at Williamston is a large, private 7000 SQ foot country estate that has been separated into three individual units: "The Bunkhouse", "The Luxury Escape", and "The Peaceful Retreat". They are each separate units under the same roof (could be considered similar to a townhouse) with their own exterior entrance and there is no shared inside space, but if adjacent units are both rented, the connecting doors can be unlocked from both sides simultaneously to connect the units. As there may be another guest in the adjacent unit, we do ask all our guests to observe quiet time between 10pm and 8am to respect the other guests.

The Bunkhouse is the middle unit, so it can be combined with either or both of the other two. The peaceful retreat is a single floor and the other two are each two story, which, also similar to a townhouse, the floor above and below will all be the same unit (i.e. your ceiling won't be immediately below someone else's floor.)

To rent more than one unit together, guests can simply make both or all three reservations in the usual manner. We had previously offered a single rate for the entire property, but it was higher than the combined price of the three units, so now we simply offer the ability to rent all three individually if they are available on your desired dates.

Peaceful , clean near so many small towns and Lansing.

When we rented this property we didn't realize that it was one house broken into like 3 rental properties. So if you're looking for privacy this is not your place. They really need a few more curtains. The neighbors would come sit at the fire pit and you would literally be staring at each other while you're family was watching tv in there pj's. That being said the property was beautiful and clean everything else was great.

The kitchenette (lacking an oven/stove) is the only thing lacking in the large space that offers plenty of room for 5 people on two floors, including a covered porch and balcony that grants access to the large property that includes a pond.

our stay in the luxury unit was great! it was a nice big area that allowed us to grill and have outside fun for fourth of july. the kids loved the lake and fishing opportunities. we would come back!

I would give this 3.5 stars. The section of the home we stayed at was fantastic for the most part. It’s way off the road, which is a huge plus. Downtown Lansing is only 20 minutes or so from the home, which made it convenient for meals, and the home was very clean. A few of the challenges of the home were no actual stove/oven in the “kitchen”, the front door was difficult to force open t get in, and getting out was an adventure until we figured out that you have to force the handle up to get out, the shower was nice, but the side jets spray so hard it almost hurts to have them hit you, the large shower head had almost no pressure and was essentially useless, we could hear the people in the other section of the home as if they were in our section of the home (and smell EVERYTHING they cooked…NOT pleasant!) It’s a really nice home, it was just much different than I expected.

This vacation home is incredible! The property is gorgeous. The home is well kept and clean. The bathroom is phenomenal with a 6-sprayer shower, jacuzzi tub, and sauna. The king bed was very comfortable as well. We appreciated very prompt replies from the hosts when we had a few minor questions. Benjamin and Loretta (our dogs) also loved the beautiful space to play outside. We will definitely try to stay here again when in the area.

The location exceeded our expectations. The property is parsed off nicely and beautiful inside. Each room was nicely decorated and the outside back porch and upstairs outside seating area with seating and swing was wonderful. Close enough to Lansing but far enough away to enjoy the quietness.

On quiet farmland overlooking a pond and streams this home is practically a mansion, and the luxury suite lives up to its name. The living room is a cozy spot to watch tv or play piano. The upstairs master bedroom has a screened porch with a bench swing. The master bath is enormous with an incredible shower. It also has a jacuzzi and a steam sauna neither of which i used this time but they were spotlessly clean. The property is set far from the road, and every time i came or went i was greeted by birds and deer along the wooded dirt road back to the farm property proper. The luxury suite truly is a spoiling experience that i’ll rate all future properties against. And the host responded to me via text or phone call within 3 minutes every time.
