"I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that."

"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

Hotel’s amenities description includes the pool but when we asked about it they said that there was no pool at all. "Disappointed the gueat has to pay a parking fee when there is ample parking and the hotel is not in a city. They should just allow hotel guests to use a hang card vs pay 6 dollars a day. The AC in the room was great, but the hallways and other common area was very warm."
