"We had rented the cottage and loved it for privacy and convenient parking. It made handling the bags easy. There wasn’t a restaurant or any food included, but the recommended nearby restaurants turned out to be a delightful experience. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Just make sure to arrive before 5:30 PM as we were left with the understanding that staff were gone after that time. "

"Pros: good location to centre of town and the beach, large carpark (although it doesn’t seem to be just for the motel like advertised), room appears to have been refurbed recently Cons: overpriced for what else is available nearby. staff are nowhere to be found during the whole stay, during check in i was able to see the full names of the other guests of the hotel where the key collection was & the main door was never locked. We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "

"Perfect for our 1 night stay. Bed was comfy. Hot tub was only anout 85 degrees F though. Room only had 2 towels for pool and bathing. Appears they are fixing up place though."

"Very clean and basic. It's an easy 2km walk into town along the beach. Good kitchen and shower was great. Cons : Unfortunately there's no air conditioning in the bedrooms (small portable fan though). Even with the windows open and it only being 24C it was stuffy and we didn't have a great sleep.
