"I am new to the bed and breakfast scene, so the the "check-in" was awkward. Since I arrived after dinner hours, there was no one to greet me and there followed a few minutes of awkward stumbling through halfways to find my room. Sean, one of the owners, found me and very genuinely welcomed me. I found the room to be very comfortable and the fire place to be extremely nice after a chily day on the shore. Breakfast was amazing and I felt like I was in a family member's kitchen. It was very...

"It was just a great place to stay. Very quaint, the Inn keepers were very friendly and helpful with what to do in the surrounding areas. Lots of outlet namebrand outlet stores and of course the new LL Bean Flagship store. Which was amazing. Would definitely stay again"

"A beautiful inn, well maintained with very friendly staff. We'd return for certain!"

"Super cute B&B we felt very welcome. Host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious..as well as the coffee. Definitely would stay here again."

"This hotel was great! Clean rooms, great staff. Nice breakfast in the morning with friendly staff. Took one star away due to updating/construction on the exterior of the building but that shows they are doing upkeep which is positive. Great hotel close to shopping and highways access."

"Hotel was very good in all respects. Expedia ,however, told me that there was no record of my reservation when I called on the morning of my stay to confirm. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I gave up after 25 minutes on hold. I finally was able to contact the hotel directly and they confirmed my reservation."

"Little noisy from hwy traffic."

"Nice place and very friendly people"

"This hotel reeked of marijuana. Never smelled anything so strong. Every day. The second I walked in the hall room it was in the carpets. My room smelled bad. There was pubic hair in the bathroom and urine on the seat. There was a hole in the wall covered with some plastic piece that was about to fall. The window was broken and could not be opened, other rooms had their windows open. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were clean. Location convenient. Would not stay here again."

"Good for lodge"

"We enjoyed the restaurant on site. Staff was helpful. We found some items left in room by previous guests. I would request room in the back, we had room near busy street and traffic noise in the morning was loud."

"Loved everything about it except for two things: 1- Climbing the stairs 2- Smoke detector malfunctioned and beeped for two nights Otherwise- good experience and great host"

"I had such a lovely stay at The Brunswick Hotel during our autumn road trip through New England! Its warm, inviting atmosphere and charming location made it a wonderful place to experience Maine in the fall. The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, and I especially appreciated being able to share the experience with my dog, Auggie. A lovely stay in a charming New England town that I would happily return to!"

"Room clean enough but breakfast left something to be desired. Staff helpful. Amenities could be better. Parking great. Nice to be able to get a room there at peak season!"
