No secure parking for motorcycles although the manager did try to organise a solution. We did , unfortunately pick a stay when a function was on and the noise from the guests below (around the stairwell) was loud.

"We loved our time at Carberry Tower! The estate was stunning and the staff were very helpful. We walked in the gardens and the woods behind the estate - breathtaking! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. I only wish we had arrived soon enough for the high tea which looked perfect. This will be a favourite memory from our European vacation! Thank you from a perfect stay!"

"Conveniently located for the centre of Haddington, the hotel is comfortable, quiet with good onsite parking. We didn't have an evening meal, although the menu looked great but we were out with friends. We did have breakfast which was good, a selection of cereals, juice, help yourself tea and coffee, full English. The staff were really friendly"

"On arrival we were ushered into an adjacent building with a very dilapidated exterior. The bland room resembled a student bedsit on the busy main road & had a bed without a headboard so pillows disappeared in the gap between the mattress and wall. The wall mirror is only suitable if you are over 6’ 6”! No window blinds, so privacy necessitated closing the blackout curtains & living in the dark.

"great little stay, nice Pub/Hotel, locals are friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent, East Linton was a great little village, with a watermill and Dovecote walk to explore. but be warned it was very hot day when we stayed, so we had the windows open, the village church/clock nearby its bells ring on the hour from 8am to 11pm and the East Coast main railway line is close too, so the trains rattle through till late, it did not bother us we found it a bit of a laugh tbh."

This is a lovely, quirky place. Super clean. Quiet. Check in was a breeze. There were two people waiting for us when we arrived and someone carried everything upstairs for us. It was a great place to stop overnight. We stayed on the top floor in a very big, pretty room that fit five (we were 4). Shared bathroom, but we were the only ones upstairs, so no big deal. "The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much for them and once I explained the first bedroom I had the first night was too small, as in the bathroom for a large gentleman like myself and the shower too small for me, they changed my room, I still struggled with a single bed, so I would ask for a double bed next time, also be aware, there is a none refundable policy in place, so if did want to cancel in plenty of time, you won't get any money back, just a thought, but again, staff were fantastic...
