"The hotel is good with a queen size bed and overlooks the seafront. However it is a lot more exxpensive than the hotel next door. We didnt have a breakfast as they only serve until 9.15am "

"Customer Service was fantastic from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious. Room was a little cold, but when we mentioned it, they revolved straight away. Restaurant was closed, due to lack of staff, but plenty of local options The room was OK,but headboard was solid and hurts wgen you head but it."

"Charming place, we hadn’t realised how good the sea views were/are. Nicely located being a short walk from Babbington centre with the rest of the English Riviera easily accessible. Heating and hot water both fine, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen (even washing up without a dishwasher didn’t seem like a chore with those views!). We had an issue with the WiFi which the owner worked to resolve, sadly without success. But Sunny Bank is a great spot in a great location - recommended"

"We had a one night stay in the hotel, we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. The hotel is an old build but is very clean, the room was huge with a double bed and bunk beds. Bedding was fresh and clean, bathroom clean and the water lovely and hot with lots of fresh towels. Overall a great stay, will definitely book again. Highly recommend if your in Torquay "

"The hosts Dennis and Helga made us feel so welcome. They were very attentive to our needs. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast choice was fantastic. The location was excellent being close to public transport. Parking was right in front of the property. Highly recommend."

"Position of house was very good although there was no parking which is inconvenient. The furniture is old and very tatty The central heating didn't work terribly well. We enjoyed our stay, there is lots of space but feel the place need some decorating and some newer furnishings "

"Upon arrival met by Grace, (owner,housekeeper and cook) with one of the friendliest smiles. Upon entering accommodation tourist information readily available on the right hand side of the entrance, taken to the room by Grace (nice to have done rather than just being told where it is). Room was a deluxe room (number 3) consisting of a lounge, bedroom and en-suite , plenty of storage available, two tvs one in lounge and one in bedroom. "Lovely clean room with very comfy bed with some home made fudge treats which were truly scrumptious. We were made very welcome on arrival good advice about local amenities given very helpful.
