Fantastic stay at Marina View - Whitianga

This place was beautiful & felt very luxurious. The pool & hot tub were a real treat. The apartment was clean, comfortable, had a side view of the marina & had everything we needed. A short walk to the playground, cafes & ferry. We loved this place & will be back to stay again in the future.

Mouldy

Strong, overpowering smell of mould. Most likely from the curtains. Got a bit more bearable the second day, so i suspect the apartment has been locked up and un-used for some time. Also, the shower head is so powerful it jumped out of its holder, landed on the floor, and absolutely soaked the entire bathroom in seconds. It was pointed straight up and even completely soaked the ceiling. I would imagine if this has happened to previous users then this might be contributing to the smell of mould. If the owner fixes these two things, then its a great little apartment.
