"This was our second year in a row! I accidentally booked a room in the Hotel building instead of a cabin and it was almost exactly the same! The kitchenette is inside and there is no personal fire pit but we were not disappointed! There were 3 Goldilocks beds in our room for me and my 2 teens. "What a fabulous spot deep in the Redwoods. This beautiful property is a touch of heaven if you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful environment and want to get away from it all for a while. The hosts are very nice and helpful and the tent and facilities are great. We only stayed one night but plan on definitely going back for a longer visit."

Our group of ten took turns cooking with the impressive kitchen, and after having tried almost every appliance we can confidently say they all worked excellently and are clearly well maintained. The road up to the house can be a little tricky, and I would recommend vehicles that can manage steep inclines and have a bit of clearance.I would have appreciated a more detailed inventory of available cookware and dishes, as we ended up bringing...

"I loved the view! House was super cute and decorated well. Helpful tip: Screen shot the WiFi password before you drive up the mountain down to Shelter Cove because I lost cell service on the drive and got there and couldn’t get on WiFi or use my phone since I didn’t screen shot the WiFi code before hand. "We had an amazing time and what a view! We loved drinking our morning coffee on the deck while watching the waves crash on the rocks, and the deer walking through the property! We even actually saw whales in the cove. We were surprised that we had no Internet reception there, but it was kind of nice to be cut off from the world for a day. It was so relaxing!"
