Awesome staff, gluten free options are good, bed was comfy, no working shower was a disappointing start to my day.

Overall very good, nice location if your traveling further south as it just off the main A303, plenty of parking, nice room clean and well presented, with all the normal tea,coffee and TV, quiet location and an Indian restaurant next door if you want to eat. On the down side room was let down by the rusty towel rail in the bathroom, which needs replacing badly as it's unusable and dust and hair on the bathroom window sill. Would I stay here again, most certainly, just not in room 1 purely because of the bathroom.

Well worth the visit. Lovely country hotel.

I was checked into a disability room, which although OK is designed for wheelchair users. The sink was low and had no plug in it, so shaving was hard. The room was hot, and although there wasa fan, the window opened fully and wasn't safe to leave open overnight due to it being on the ground floor. The radiator front panel was falling off and the room had no desk/table to use for eating or work. Whilst I appreciate this is a budget hotel, simple things like a plug and mending a broken radiator cover should be part of the 'room readiness' inspection. Unfortunately the people who came in after me kept slamming the communal front door, which isn't conducive to a good nights sleep.
