"Sixteen family members used Walking Bear as base camp for 10 days in NW Montana. Great location - easy to get to Whitefish, Kalispell, Big Fork, Flathead Lake, Whitefish Lake, and Glacier. House had just about everything we could have needed and the hot tube and large backyard were put to good use. "

"The lay out of this place was perfect for both times we have stayed there. My husband and I stayed on the main floor while our guests were able to stay very comfortably downstairs. Everyone had privacy. We were very close to Whitefish as well as Kalispell where we both had family. It was like a Disney movie set outside when we went in October. There were deer that we could feed apples to from the apple tree down the path, and birds would that eat out of our hand on the balcony. They were also...

"We enjoyed our stay at the condo greatly. The power went out with a huge storm but the skylights upstairs provided enough light to still play uno. Loved that there was a full kitchen and spices/coffee available. The upstairs pillows and bedding were the comfiest thing ever. We used both floors to acquiesce our 14-yr-old’s request for his own room without paying big bucks. He stayed on the pull out couch which was fine for him but is quite saggy and sloped- probably not good for anyone with back...

"We loved our stay here. The place was very clean when we got there and the layout was cool and was in a great location. The only bad thing I have to say is the neighbors above us were a bit loud, banging and stomping around and we would run out of hot water somewhat quickly. Other than that though, really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. "

"My wife and I stayed here for 7 days and explored glacier national park. The cabin was perfect for the both of us. Very cozy. The views were amazing from the porch. Saw plenty of mule deer grazing around the property. Hosts are very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again if we go back to glacier! "

"We had four generations together for ten days of fun, love and laughter. The house provided plenty of great entertainment as well a nooks to gain some sanity. It was close enough to get to Glaicer National Park, Whitefish Mountain, and Hungry Horse Reservoir. Thank you!"

"Beautiful property for our exploration of Glacier NP. Comfortable, clean, well-equipped, very considerate welcome touches. Would stay again without hesitation."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. It was so close to everything. We walked down to the lake every night and were able to easily walk to dinner each night as well. We used this as our home base for going to Glacier and while the drive was a bit long, it was a beautiful drive. The only small (tiny) hiccup was we had trouble getting the door to lock when we would leave, but we figured that if we pull the door towards us really hard while entering the code that did the trick. But we loved this...

"Could not have asked for a better location. We walked to breakfast and to the downtown shopping area in just a few minutes. The deep soft couch in the living room wasn’t something that I expected to be excited about but after a long drive and long hikes it was so nice to put your feet up and relax. "
