You'll find this log cabin tucked into towering pines, with sweeping forest views out every window. Soaring wood-beamed ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and a private hot tub make it feel like a proper mountain retreat from the moment you walk in. It's close enough to downtown Whitefish to enjoy everything the town has to offer, but far enough away that you can actually hear yourself think.

The main level is open and easy, built around a kitchen that's meant to be used, not just admired. There's a gas cooktop, a wine fridge, and enough island seating for everyone to hang out while dinner comes together. When it's time to eat, the farmhouse dining table is right there, or you can grab a plate and head toward the fire instead. Light pours in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and a few sets of French doors open onto a wraparound deck, a great spot for coffee in the morning or a drink once the sun starts to dip behind the trees.

The living room is where most evenings end up. A branch chandelier hangs overhead, and a leather lounge chair sits near a couple of plush sofas, all facing the wood fireplace. Upstairs, the primary suite has a king bed, its own deck access, and views that make it hard to leave. Two more sleeping areas round things out, a queen bedroom and a room with twin beds, so the whole group has somewhere comfortable to land. All told, there's a king, a queen, and two twins.

Air Conditioning:
This home does not have air conditioning, which is typical for Montana mountain properties. Evenings cool down beautifully at elevation, and opening windows at night is the best way to bring that fresh mountain air in. During the day, keeping windows and curtains closed helps hold the cool air inside. Fans are available in the bedroom closets for additional comfort. For safety, please only open windows while you are present on the property.
