"The price of the hotel was ridiculous. Over 300$. I was expecting a really nice place. Don't get me wrong. It was clean and modern. We had two rooms and both had pieces of the bathroom that were falling off. And had to fix a toilet and one of the toilet seats was really loose and pinched skin. The beds were very comfy! The breakfast was the bomb....So so good. The staff was amazing and very accommodating and super friendly. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the price. Way way to over priced....

"They don't tell you that the hotels under construction on website except for some very fine print at the bottom. We went there for my daughter's birthday and everything like the water slide and hot tub were all shut down. The construction workers were on every level the doors were all propped open so there was no security. The construction workers worked until 10:00 p.m. on a weeknight. They had no coordination as far as shutting down one floor at a time. The whole place look like it was being...

"Nice view of the lake. Older hotel but seems well maintained and clean. Broken down truck used for maintenance storage taking up one of the handicapped parking spaces was not so great. Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and took it upon himself to upgrade one of our rooms so we could be right next door to each other. Breakfast was pretty sad. We ended up walking down to Caribou Coffee for breakfast. Overall, good value for the price for a short-term stay."

"I went thru Expedia and when I booked a room in duluth I specifically asked for a ground level room with a walk out patio,verified 3 times a ground level room and a patio,the gentleman who booked my room assured me of that was what I would get. I drove 4 hours went to check in and I had a room on the 11th floor and the hotel had No rooms with patios!!! Very disappointing."

"Easy check in, great parking, nice clean room. Great pool and hot tub. Several fire pits with plentiful seating along the shoreline. On site restaurant was a bit pricey. No continental breakfast. Coffee not available in main lobby until 8 am - should be 6 am. Coffee maker in room made flavorless dark colored hot water. Yeah, I like my coffee early. Everything else about Larsmont Cottages was great."

"It was on the board walk excellent trails for bikes, scooters, and walking. Great food and shopping stores within walking distance, also the aquarium is a must see walking distance, but don't forget about two harbors Betty's pies awesome place to eat home made pies and regular food awesomely priced. The absolute awesomest part was being walking distance of the ships coming into the harbor and seeing great sunrises off the balcony and ships coming into the harbor. Pretty good free continental...

"Good location for birders visiting the Sax-Zim Bog 50 minutes away. No elevator for second floor rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selection and presentation. Convenient to Miller Hill Mall and restaurants across the highway."
