The home was lovely and had everything we needed for the weekend, including 2 coffee pots. :) The men in our family enjoyed the river location. "What a wonderful long weekend summer vacation! Check in was easy, the house was fully stocked for all of our needs, wi-fi worked great and the location was gorgeous! "Here is some info for people who want to bring boat. We rented this property for guys weekend. I don't live too far away so I brought a boat. Several of the local ramps are currently closed. The closest open ramp was Old Federal. It's 15-20 minutes from the dock by road and about the same by boat running around 20 MPH. "We had the best time! Everything we needed to live in this awesome river retreat was on hand from kitchen appliances, glassware, fluffy towels, comfortable beds and board games! The river view was beautiful and there are abundant opportunities for fun in the water. We brought our own tubes and a blow up kayak. We did enjoy some nearby attractions - hiked to a local waterfall, tubing in Helen and the Georgia Mountain Coaster. It was a wonderful long weekend away from home. "

"David was a fantastic host! He was very responsive about the questions that we had and even let us borrow a couple more kayaks to use on the lake! "Our 1st time on Lake Lanier and this home was ideal for all of our needs to maximize our stay. The views are amazing and everyone enjoyed swimming from the dock. We rented a pontoon boat and being able to tie up at the dock was a huge plus for convenience. Beautiful home with hardwood floors and everything we needed to accommodate our group of 15. "Our family met here for a four generation family reunion. This location had something for everyone - lake access, pool table, plenty of rooms with private restrooms. We had 20 people in our group from 1 yo to 94, and everyone was able to stay comfortably. I highly recommend renting a boat and tube as that was certainly a hit for the several family members.
