Este condominio de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños se encuentra en Glacier Lodge, una verdadera propiedad de ski-in / ski-out en la base de Blackcomb Mountain. Ubicado en el piso superior, este condominio de la unidad final tiene vistas al paseo del pueblo superior con cafeterías, restaurantes y tiendas minoristas a continuación. Fuera de la sala de estar / comedor se encuentra el amplio dormitorio principal con TV y baño privado con ducha de cristal. El acceso secundario al balcón también está fuera del dormitorio principal. Arriba está el segundo dormitorio que da a la sala y el comedor a través de las ventanas. Esta habitación de estilo loft tiene dos camas individuales que se pueden juntar como un rey a pedido, un televisor y un armario. Las ventanas y la puerta se pueden cerrar por tranquilidad y privacidad.

UBICACIÓN
Ubicado en el pueblo superior aproximadamente a 10 minutos a pie del centro principal del pueblo. Pasos a la base de Blackcomb Mountain y la nueva góndola Blackcomb. El estacionamiento de pago está en vigencia en Glacier Lodge a una tarifa de $ 20 / noche por vehículo. Este edificio cuenta con lavandería de monedas (no hay lavandería en la suite), área segura para guardar bicicletas y esquís, jacuzzi común y piscina al aire libre y un pequeño gimnasio.

Great location. Riom as described. Some problems with the neighbours.

This apartment is exactly as described. The location is perfect for what we wanted. The only problem we had was during our stay the neighbouring apartment was undergoing extensive renovations and building work which was extremely noisy. The lodgings company were helpful at trying to resolve issues and offer us alternatives and ultimately offered us compensation. In future we will be proactive and ask about known building works when we stay in similar apartment buildings as ultimately there was nothing anybody could do as they had permits and we just had to put with it. Dont let that put you off this apartment though. It's fabulous. but beware and ask in advancwer2cokpany

Great stay - ski trip

My friends and I stayed for a two week ski trip, and overall it was a very good trip and stay at this condo. Pros:-- Location to lifts with a short walk to the Blackcomb lifts.-- Condo location is nice and generally quiet. -- On site ski storage, but it's a bit of a con too...see cons below-- End/corner condo location on 3rd floor reduces hallway noise-- Easy access (walk or ride the bus with a stop just outside the lodge) to Whistler village and generally economical Fresh St. Market for groceries although there is Village market across from the lodge.-- Very good communication with the host-- Host remedied minor issues (see cons below) quicklyCons:-- Condo has slatted shutters on the windows and they let a lot of light in the morning.-- Loft has no light blocking shutters/blinds, so morning or evening light from downstairs lights shines through.-- Master bedroom bed is not a true king bed since it is two beds joined together and not that comfortable for two people snuggling together.-- Can't keep skis in the condo, and must use on site ski storage-- Despite close proximity to the lifts, must walk to the front of the lodge to retrieve skis from storage then walk same distance back (outside) to get to lifts...a bit inconvenient, but not terrible.-- Minor issues upon arrival include a few broken shutters and a lack of a large pot for cooking spaghetti

Great location, loved our stay

We loved our visit to Whistler. We would stay here again. The place was clean and nice. Just as described online. One small suggestion would be to also provide softer, thinner bed pillows for people who sleep on their back.

Great location!

We enjoyed the condo and how close it was to the slopes. Ideal Accommodations at Glacier Lodge were friendly and assisted with any issues almost immediately (Dishwasher wasnt working and they fixed right away). Kitchen well stocked with great cookware and plenty of dishes. Balcony was nice to relax on and the loft was perfect as a teen room for privacy. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Convenient and comfortable

Nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and sofas, quiet corner unit, heated floors, convenient to blackcomb gondola and free shuttle to Whistler base. Shout out to Josh and the other staff in the rental shop who cheerfully sent us off with our skis in the morning, welcomed us back end of day, and were super helpful assisting us with renting powder and all-mtn skis.

Glacier Lodge 2 Bedroom Ski Vacation

Stayed at GL many times, it is great location! To be clear, all units at the GL I have stayed at are good. Including this one. There were a few disappointments. The cleaning fee is ridiculously high but for that much I would expect it to be cleaner, top of fridge covered in dust as well as open kitchen shelves. Toilet paper and paper towels were the thinnest, cheapest I have ever seen and for that price there should have been tissues. The tv has no way to connect for Netflix or share pictures with iPad etc. All the other unites I stayed in provided its own in-unit Wi-Fi. Although this unit has its own Wi-Fi it is not shared by the owners and instead you have to use the GLs slower internet. So although it was a nice spot I would not rent this unit again. It seems like they just accommodated the minimum requirements.

Great location and fully stocked kitchen. Works great for me and a few friends for 6 night. Only issue was when power went out and we couldn’t get the WiFi back up.

Clean, nice location, small second bedroom

Stayed at this condo for a ski vacation 2/23. The place is a 10 minute walk to the main village, and a 5 minute walk from the Blackcomb gondola. The ski check in the lobby of the condo is convenient. I loved the heated floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. The biggest complaint I have is that the loft bedroom is very small with limited storage for 2 people. Additionally, there are no shades for the windows in that bedroom.

Checks Many Boxes!

This is a top floor corner unit, with all peace and tranquility that comes with it. The kitchen has excellent appliances. The bathrooms, both on the lower level, feature a good hot stream shower and a full bath, respectively. The bedroom upstairs is a fully enclosed, soundproof loft, serviced by a solid staircase. Heating works very well, especially the gas fireplace in the living room. Said living room is very comfortable - great couches and a wide screen TV, with a reasonable selection of cable channels. Beds are comfortable and the bedding is of good quality. The one thing though - as compared to the description - is that this is NOT a ski-in, ski-out location. You can´t ski to the apartment, or out of it. If you use the convenient ski rental on the ground floor of Glacier Lodge, they will store your skis, and you can wear your ski boots in and out of the apartment - then comes a short (3 minutes, 262 yards´) walk with skis to the gondola at the beginning of the day, and from the end of the slopes to Glacier Lodge, at the end of your skiing. All in all, excellent value for money and a nice place to stay. Finally, the property management was flexible enough - it wasn´t rented back to back - to afford us a late check-out to suit out return shuttle, a very professional gesture for a token fee. Much appreciated.

Cascade Dreams

While the Cascade Lodge is an older complex with older carpeting and decor, the unit itself was tastefully renovated and decorated, with a well appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds and pull out couches. The unit was exceptionally clean with high quality bedding and amenities that one would find in a high end hotel. The pool area was clean and well maintained and the hot tubs were kept nice and warm. Check in and registration was conveniently located on site, operating 24 hours/ day and the staff were very polite and helpful. The location was quite central in the Upper Village with easy access to nearby restaurants, a small grocery store, a beer and wine store and a pleasant walk to the main village and to lost lake. There is no washer and dryer in the unit but apparently there is one on site. Parking is on site but the cost is in addition to the rental fee. The cleaning fee was very expensive, especially for a shorter stay. Overall, I would definitely book this unit again.

Dated building, updated unit!

Great location right in the upper village!! the unit is clean and perfect for a family of 4. comfy King bed in master with separate upstairs 2 twin beds was awesome for the kids. plus two full baths downstairs. Please note - if your car is a suv w a roof rack you will most likely not fit in their covered parking - max is 6’8” the other covered lot is 6’10”. We couldn't clear these so we parked in public uncovered lot not too far, but not at doorstep either. Also this unit doesn't have laundry, but there is laundry offered in the building. Overall - if these aren’t deal breakers for you than stay here - it was very comfortable & very nice & clean. PLUS !! they have AC!! BIG bonus in summer months. Enjoy!
