"Charming cabin with lots of beautiful architectural details. Obvious that while it may have some history it is well loved. Beautiful spot on the creek which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere despite the fact that restaurants & shops are a quick easy walk from the cabin. "Great communication and the house was perfect for our friend group that was in the area for a wedding. Four separate sleeping areas worked well. Also enjoyed the canal and nice walking area behind the house so we could get our exercise in and to view the beautiful waterfall. Flowers and fruit at the house when we arrived were a nice touch!"

"This spot is perfectly located. We were just there for a quick overnight, not thinking too much about it, but it worked out so well that I'd just rebook here in the future. Lovely neighborhood, lush green yard, lots of easy parking, just a few minutes walk to the cute downtown, and right by the highway for driving off to the river or hikes. "My daughter and I stayed at this property while she was working on her private pilot's license at Lincoln airport, and I telecommuted. This lovely house did not disappoint! Super clean and comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen so I could cook. It was also very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the community rec center. It was just like being at home (except I didn't have to mow the lawn!). Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. "It's clear a lot of thoughtfulness and intention went into the property and amenities. It's rare to stay at a spot where there are cooking spices, tupperware containers, and minimal cleanup/checkout instructions, and all of these little things really added up to make for a relaxing and fulfilling vacation. "This home is beautiful and very comfortable. We didn't lack anything while here. The neighborhood is mostly commercial, but we never felt uncomfortable when in the front. The backyard is an oasis, so stunning and peaceful with so many places to sit or lounge. The host was always available for questions and even checked in with us via text to make sure everything was okay. It was a wonderful week that we wont soon forget."
