The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. We also loved the restaurant - great atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. "Nice rooms. Bathroom too small for me unfortunately. Pub looks a bit tired and could do with a makeover. Steps to rooms are metal fire escape outside at the back but treads not deep enough so be careful walking down them. Good atmosphere."

"The staff all gave the most amazing service, its the care to detail the little extra that stands out. I could not find anything to complain about. The evening menu (££££) looked amazing, however I was not wanting a rich meal . So they let me order a sandwich. My husband enjoyed the fish pie. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choice. "
