HARBOURSIDE GETAWAY!!!

Just 90 minutes from the Auckland harbour bridge, modern and spacious two bedroom waterfront apartment on ground level, Completely separate with own private entrance. NO CLEANING FEE! Majestic views of the harbour from the lounge and main bedroom. WIFI, SKY TV and Netflix for your entertainment. Step outside onto the sunny deck surrounded by lovely gardens. Enjoy a barbecue and watch the sun go down or take a walk along the beach at low tide. FREE use of 2-man Kayak, Small boats can be easily taken to the beach via our boat ramp. There is a fish filleting outdoor bench and boat cleaning facilities. Outside power point for charging electric vehicles. PLEASE NOTE a maximum of 4 registered guests only may stay. NOTE: Not suitable for infants.

The unit is close to Marsden Cove marina and boat launching facilities. There are fishing charters available also at the marina with cafes and restaurants nearby. Surf beaches at Ruakaka and Waipu are only a few minutes drive away with their own cafes, restaurants and markets, and a modern golf course.

Whangarei city is only a 25 minute drive away with many attractions including Whangarei Falls and the Town Basin Marina in the heart of the city. Boutique shopping and several walking tracks are in this area and popular weekend markets are only a short walk away. Sports complex and events centre also only 25 minutes away.

While you are here, check out the Tutukaka Coast or Whangarei Heads. Both are unique and stunning in their own right and provide a nice day out.

Further North, the spectacular Bay of Islands will not disappoint! Rich in history and known around the world for deep sea fishing and diving, wonderful scenic reserves and marine life. A variety of popular excursions leave from Paihia every day.

Simply marvelous

Holiday Appartement

Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Ein Zimmer ist ohne Fenster, aber mit Klimaanlage. Sie liegt in herrlicher Umgebung. Man kann von der Terrasse, den ungestörten Blick auf die Bucht genießen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett.

Home from home.....plus water views!

What a find! The property and accommodation are in a beautiful location. The place is very well equipped and functional. The deck area in front of the place is the most amazing spot - table and chairs and umbrella - a place to watch the sun set and to gaze out at the water and the Whangarei heads. Thanks for a great stay.

Xmas in Ruakaka

we were going to spend time with our whanau in Ruakaka for 6 days. I found this property on line and was impressed with its proximity and location. Meeting the owners was a privilege and they made us feel welcome. the facilities were first class and spending time there was relaxing to say the least. i would absolutely recommend this property to anybody looking for a place to have time out with family and friends.

A slice of paradise!

This is a gorgeous property, right on the water & with high end furnishings & bedding. The hosts are very friendly & helpful and we loved visits from their cat Bonnie too! If we didn’t live on the other side of the world we’d be coming back every few weeks we loved it so much!

The accommodation was exactly as described and pictured - probably better than pictured - and exactly what we wanted. A great waterside spot and the apartment was super clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Would happily recommend and visit again. Harbourside Getaway was amazing. More than what we expected. Russell and Michelle were very helpful without being intrusive. The rooms were exceptionally clean and there were all the comforts of home. The views were spectacular!!

This place makes us want to live in One Tree Point!

I can totally recommend this property as being five star. The hosts Michelle and Russell are top notch and really know how to do hosting well. The property had everything we needed and I could not fault it. However the winning thing was the location. We swam twice a day, at dawn and in the dark even. The water at high tide is exceptional and the double kayak is an added bonus. We would stay again in a heart beat. I did not want to leave to be honest!

Fantastic stay

This is a great place to stay. Beautifully clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. You can just walk out the door and walk along the access track that goes along above the water or if the tide is out drop down and walk along the shore. Next time we will have time to use the kayak that is available. Lovely, friendly hosts.
