Beachy Cottage for 8 - Walk to beach, family & dog friendly!

Relax! This cozy vacation cottage is complete with living room, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms - all just 2 minutes from the Pacific Ocean! This updated and spacious 1950’s beach cabin can comfortably sleep up to 8 - great for families, friends, or 3 couples. Cozy sofas are perfect for game night by the wood stove, and a fast mesh network for high speed internet allows you to stream movie night. Note that we've added a large television over the wood stove, so we now have three streaming TVs and one vintage DVD player. Original art and a well-stocked kitchen make this your home away from home!

*Please note we have a minimum 2 night stay unless we have a single night open between other reservations.*
- Bedroom 1: Queen bed - The Washington Room
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed - The Seascape Room (small DVD player)
- Bedroom 3: King bed - The Beach Room (wall mounted smart TV, Internet TV only)
- Bedroom 4: Twin trundle bed, located next to front door - The Game Room, including an Xbox One (DVDs, Internet TV)

Wood-burning stove, indoor dining seating and outdoor dining, campfire circle, large outdoor deck, Xbox One, tons of board games and a vintage DVD library.

Kitchen includes: stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, pots/pans, dishes, utensils, coffee pot with reusable filter, French press coffee pot, coffee grinder, toaster, electric pancake griddle, InstantPot.

Independent 24/7 entry and check out. Home is professionally cleaned.

Property was wonderful for my group of friends plus dog. The spacious, fenced yard was everything my pup could have wanted! The kitchen was well-stocked and the living space cozy. Not scented which we LOVE - shout out to the owners and cleaners for not using scented products. Being a short walk away from the beach was hands down the best part of the trip.A note on the location/town: very visibly pro-Tr*mp and pro-p*lice, with signs on a lot of the houses in the surrounding blocks.

The house is very nice and well stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, cooking pots and pans and skillets and more. There are lots of games, though they are very messy and many are missing a lot of what you actually need to play them. We were happy to bring our little dogs, they had dog bowls and towels and a little bag of treats.The only frustrating thing about the houseare the doors! They are all VERY hard to open and close. We would stay here again!

So much more relaxing than a motel or a hotel. Quiet and relaxing in a very comfortable atmosphere. No pressure to hurry or Neighbors being noisy. With an open window I could hear the ocean. Planning on going again next year.

Great place for our family vacation

Weekend Family Get Together

Stayed for a family weekend get together and had a wonderful time. The guys went fishing one day and the girls relaxed in the sun. Had two fun nights, especially one round the firepit. The house lacked for nothing and the communication with the host was excellent.

Nice family getaway

The four of us had a wonderful time! Everything was clean and a lot of things around the house to make it homey and convenient. My oldest was excited for the Xbox of course lol and our youngest was happy to have her own room :) I think getting a couple smart tvs for the two rooms across from the main room would be helpful. Even with the instructions we had a hard time getting the dvd player to work. Other than that, it was great. Lots of board games and the Alexa to listen to music. We found car beach access about 4 minutes up the road so major plus! We will definitely be back :)

Family Vacay

We stayed for 3 nights, there were 5 adults 2 toddlers and a dog. the place worked for us and met our needs and we truly enjoyed our stay but it was a bit pricey with the added service fees. There was no place to put your luggage/stuff as all the closets were occupied. There was alot of long hair strands in the master bathroom on floor and in the shower that did not belong to the occupant of the master bedroom. Appreciate you letting us use your house.

Wonderful house

The house is wonderful, well-equipped, comfortable, clean—and charming! We walked to the lighthouse and beach in the quiet, friendly neighborhood. I highly recommend this property!

Great weekend in comfortable, relaxing beach town

The property was super clean, quiet and comfortable. The walk to the beach was short, pleasant and easy. The yard was large and nicely fenced with sunshine, a covered porch and a pretty deck. Great for sunny days or the occasional rainy afternoon. We loved the house, the yard and the location.

Great place for dogs

This house was the perfect size for my parents, my two children, me, and two dogs. It had all the amenities we needed. The best thing is that the yard was fully fenced so we could let the dogs run around outside when they started to get antsy. It is only a 10 minute walk to the lighthouse and paved pathway along the beach, a great place for walking the dogs. The state park at the lighthouse has trails, but many were flooded this time of year. The owner was gracious and we were very pleased with our interactions. We went clam digging during this trip. From the house to a sweet spot on the beach was only 10 minutes. This is a great little Westport getaway. Would consider staying here again in the future!

Stormy Beach weekend.

Beautiful home in a great location for various activities. After a couple glitches during check-in, which were handled quickly, we had a great weekend of both nice and very stormy weather. The house had everything you could need and room for all.
