"The facilities we at on the weekend, is poor and stinks like a place that wasn't used, for a long time.
We are very disappointed, the pillow is not for your sleeping, I don't know what i call it.
It's not hygiene, for ten people to sleep inside, you should cut down to a healthy number, and not the money. . I want to talked about this issue but it falls in death ears. Disappointed and disgusting. "

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"

Great view of the bush/river.
Comfy bed. Good water pressure.
Manager was fantastic.
Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe.
Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path).
Restaurant with yummy food on site.
Things that could be better:
Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance.
Great stay and definitely a place I would go back.

"The parking was fine, The reception gentleman was awesome and checking in was a breeze. He gave great advice for a meal. However, I thought the room was very dreary and the bed was soft.
