"The main reason I stayed here is I saw they have full size fridges with freezers in the room. I bring my own food when traveling and the lack of a separate freezer unit in most hotels is limiting. The price was also great for just an overnight or as a basecamp for doing some hiking. I liked the layout/furniture of the rooms as well. Instead of a big table or chest taking up room, there are large open shelves under the TV to keep your things off the floor. Be aware, if you are clumsy like me,...

"Wonderful staff, clean comfortable room with brand name Dove soap shampoo & conditioner, super hot water. Breakfast was amazing every morning & surprisingly great coffee. It’s hard to find healthy options when traveling but every morning they had Greek yogurt, bananas, egg whites, turkey sausage & even sugar free syrup. "

"10:30 p.m. on my first night I get a phone call from the front desk screaming in the phone at me telling me my husband came at $1,800 hours and he has to leave and if I want to talk to him I can go to the parking lot and talk to him or I can check out they have roaches and more"

"Very very loud. It was a very loud fight in the hallway one night I was staying. Staff could approve on the welcoming. Room was clean on first night, house keeping don’t speak any English so it was hard to communicate with her. After 8pm it gets real loud plus washer machine was hard to use because others clothes was left in washer a dryer everynight. I wouldn’t book if your staying more then one night.."

"Hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was professional yet friendly. The location worked well for our travel plans. We were traveling north to Maine, so we stayed just one night. We left the hotel early the next morning (3:30 am sort of early) to beat the heaviest NYC traffic. We were north of the NYC by 6:30 am, and in southern Maine by noon. "

"Friendly staff, but they should have a schedule for people that have not been there before. They have different activities, but we missed out on a lot because we simply did not know. If you want to save, eat at places outside of the place. "

"Great owner! He seemed very passionate about the recent refresh of the property and it shows. Great touches throughout. There awesome marketing materials and the little amenities throughout the Elkton Lodge are thoughtful. Great place to lay your head and support a local mom and pop establishment when in this area."

"Breakfast was decent, but it’s the main reason I didn’t give the stay a full 5/5 stars. It was okay overall, but I felt it could use more variety and additional options. That said, everything else—parking, amenities, staff, and the rooms—exceeded my expectations. I would definitely book with them again if I travel to Delaware in the future."

"Everything was perfect for my one day trip.The front staff was very nice and even gave me a goodie bag.The room was neatly made and bathrooms was clean.the only thing I would state is the coffee maker didn’t look very clean but I got coffee at the lobby.All was good and will definitely book again.
