"The space and area are just as described in the listing. It's about a 20-min drive to access cell service, so if the internet is down, you're back in the 90s. :) There is a land line in the house. Our stay was so peaceful and the stars are amazing at night! Highly recommend! "

"The most relaxing, happy trip we have had in a long time! We stayed over July 4th to get our dogs away from fireworks in the city. Planned to do a lot of hiking. But Charley’s property is so wonderful we spent almost all of our time on site! Sitting in the beautiful yard, watching newly fledged mountain bluebirds. Looking at the incredible stars. Relaxing on the comfortable sofas. This property has everything we could have even imagined. It is not someone’s cabin they rent out once in a while....

"We'll definitely stay here if/when we return for another stay in Canon City. Good communication from the property manager. The place is just far enough from the main roads to be quiet, but close enough to stores, restaurants, etc. From the large, well-equipped kitchen, to the comfortable living area, to the cozy sleeping areas, to the huge shower and bathroom, we could spend the rest of the day trying to find a flaw and come up with nothing. The place is perfect."

"My wife and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at this delightful cabin. The hostess was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. When we arrived check-in was easy, the code given opened cabin on the first try. We entered cabin and were welcomed by lovely lights on fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was clean and welcoming. The back of cabin had multiple seating areas near the creek. It was a great place to stay. "

"No complaints! We were looking for something out of the norm and with some character, the straw bale house fit the bill.We would have enjoyed having a comfortable area to grill and enjoy the outdoors and the view (such as a deck), other than that we very much enjoyed exploring the area and would return again ."

"The property is lovely and in a beautiful remote feeling location. The kitchen is well supplied and house was as described in the listing. It's very family friendly and has cute decor. We had a beautiful view of the stars when the sky was clear, though the mosquitoes did limit how much time we wanted to spend enjoying the outdoor features of the property. It's well located for family activities, we drove an hour and visited the sand dunes, Zapata Falls, and Colorado Gators all in the same...
