"Excellent overnight stay in this delightful spot in the South Downs, close to Worthing. Beautifully modernised premises in spacious well-kept grounds. Our room was first class, as were the service snd the excellent breakfast, cooked in front of us. Altogether a real find."

"This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

"Lovely hotel; really enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent and had everything you could need. The breakfast was great and the hotel is well placed to enjoy the town, the castle and within easy reach of the cricket ground. Would definitely visit again."

"It is next to a busy road but I didn’t hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience."
