"Very nice spacious house, it was perfect for us for a weekend family stay. Everything was very clean and in good working order. However would recommend a new microwave, it took a very long time to heat food, also need shower curtain liner. Good communication with owner and answered all questions. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend! "

We were in town for a family funeral and even brought other family over to share the charm with them, they loved it as well! "This is such a cute house. Very homey and comfortable. Great views off the deck and central to a lot of hiking and points of interest. The owners dogs made me feel at home. I took my dogs with us. They had a great time hiking. Who knew there was so much beauty near Ashtabula! Would recommend. "

"Loved our stay here. Next time, we would want to use the bunkhouse, as four large adults were not made for the space. The host thought of everything, stocked firepit, grilling and cooking options, bicycles to use, Honestly they were extremely helpful and gracious and would love to spend more time on this lake! "

"We rented this house because of a loved one’s funeral. It allowed us a place to relax and visit with extended family without overwhelming the immediate family. "Everything was as described and very pleasant. Access was easy. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps more towels for the guests. There was only one bath towel, one Hand towel and one washcloth for each guest, and many women need two bath towels when getting a shower, one for their body and one for their hair. That being said, it was a very wonderful stay "

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. It was clean, comfortable and nicely updated. There were many fine amenities including a well stocked kitchen. The location was perfect for our visit to Erie. It's close to the bayfront, many restaurants, several nice museums and Presque Isle. Sarah was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Everything about Sarah's place was outstanding and we highly recommend it to other travelers."

"This property is remote- there are attractions within a half hour drive, so if you’re hoping to walk to nearby places, this isn’t the one. Everything is much higher quality than I typically see in a VRBO rental. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up!
