"The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy."

"Property is beautiful, fairly new and very well appointed. The unit was very nice, was hoping to be able to check in before 4, as we had all of our luggage with us and didn't want to go into town with it still in vehicle but Host stated unit was ready until a little after 3, this Host doesn't send out door code until unit is available. (Previous unit in Bar Harbor, we were sent info. 3 days in advance) There was hair products and bath soap provided, In the kitchen, there were some misc....

"The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Great spot!"
