  • Histórico cortijo rural de principios del siglo XIX en 180 acres privados con gran estanque y mtn. puntos de vista. Ahora restaurada, la casa era anteriormente una parada a lo largo de la antigua ruta del autocar del escenario y una granja en funcionamiento. Espectaculares vistas de las montañas Taconic de Vermont al oeste, Danby Peak hacia el sur, y por la carretera las montañas Green y Killington / Pico Peaks hacia el este. Fácil acceso a Vt. Ruta 7 a unos seis minutos.

    Las comodidades incluyen baños remodelados, sala de estar / hogar; y cocina (totalmente equipada con lavadora, secadora, microondas, lavavajillas), así como televisión por satélite con internet de alta velocidad. We enjoyed a four night stay at this incredibly beautiful property. Everything was beyond our expectations. Alex is a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. We hope to go back in the future.

If you love staying in historic, antique houses, this one is top notch! Very clean, cozy, comfortable. Amazing views. Just beautiful. I rented this particular home because of a mother/daughter/granddaughter shopping trip to the Rutland, VT Vintage Market Days held at the State Fairgrounds. I definitely would rent this property again.

Ski weekend getaway

Alex's house is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway! The peace and quiet coupled with surreal mountain views made for a memorable trip with friends.

Gracious countryhouse

This was the perfect location for a family reunion over the holidays. Close to skiing at Killington, a variety of spaces in the house for different activities and moments of the day, the large kitchen was perfect for holiday baking and Alex’s guide provided great ideas for things to do in the area.

Family Ski Trip

Place was great. Spacious, clean and killer views. Kitchen is modern and well equipped making meals was easy. Very quiet location but still convenient to Killington/Pico.

Great stay at a classic Vermont farmhouse. Easy ride to Killington for skiing. Very clean, easy location to access, and host Alex very responsive and accomodating.

Great place

This Vermont farmhouse in West Rutland combines a central location with a pastoral setting with amazing views of the Green mountains. Easy travel to Killington/Pico, and Woodstock, VT. Alex is an excellent host.

Beautifully Decorated in a Beautiful Environment

This was a perfect property for us. The location with great views was matched by the character and quality of the inside furniture and attention to design details. It also had a very well appointed kitchen, better quality than in the usual rental. All in all, a place to soothe the nerves.

Beautiful property

Property was beautiful! Great location to town. Host was so pleasant and provided many recommendations. We stayed here with our four children ages 2-10. They had a great time exploring the property. Definitely would recommend this private property.

Alex was excellent with communication. The house was unique and comfortable. The location was beautiful. Everything was very well thought out. Upstairs bedrooms were a bit chilly but Alex provided space heaters which made it all good. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of paper towels, napkins, utensils, foil/saran wrap, pots/pans/serving dishes, etc. Much appreciated. We enjoyed playing cards at the extra seating table and watching football in one of the cozy downstairs rooms. For skiing, Killington 35-40 minutes away, Pico closer at less than 30 minutes. We did not mind the drive at all to the mountains. A lovely place to stay!
