"3 women taking classes for the week at Fleming. The cabin is a perfect location, very close to town, paved road, very quiet area, lovely lake view and access. The cabin is really comfortable and every room is comfortable with lots of amenities. Kitchen has everything plus lots of space for the items we brought. This will be our first choice for next year. "This was our first cottage rental for a family of 10 getaway. Very nice setting and convenient location to nearby activities/stores.The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and the whole cottage provided comfort. ( beds, pillows, furniture)The sandy beach and water depth was perfect for kids. They loved it.After a string of hot days the cottage was extremely hot. Overhead fans in 3 of the bedrooms somewhat helped, but additional portable fans for the master bedroom and living room...

"Our family of 8 adults had a wonderful 4 days on Stormy Lake. There was plenty of sleeping space with the addition of the Bunkie which , to me, was the best bedroom! We woke to the view of the lake. It may have been nice to have a second toilet but we were fine. The screened gazebo was fantastic for bug free suppers and evening cards. The dock on the lake is big and great for hanging out on. We enjoyed paddling the canoe and the two kayaks on the lake as well. The lake is shallow so no diving in...

"Cozy cottage with everything you need away from home. The area and lake is a naturist dream. Owners (Codi & Peter) are attentive and quick to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Kennisis Lake Marina is a cool place to visit and the local store in West Guilford is only 20min away has just about anything you may need or have forgotten to bring from home. The are, lake and cottage are a true jem of the Haliburton Highlands. "
