"Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "

Thoroughly enjoyed this lakehouse for its homey vibe and quiet location. Minutes from Greenville. Eastern facing so the sunrises were a plus!"

"Awesome but... The cabin, location, hosts, booking etc., were all phenomenal, this was our second time staying at this location as we loved it so much the first time. Unfortunately an encounter with a resident at the very end of the road cast a shadow over our stay. My wife and I were out on the water, I was in a single person canoe fishing and she was in her kayak just enjoying the scenery when a male came from his home, got into his motor boat and approached her accosting/accusing her of going...

"Loved the cottage and location! Property was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a very relaxing beautiful stay! Not on the water but extremely close walking distance to path to get to the water and beautiful lake! We rented a canoe close by and were able to put the canoe in the lake easily and paddle around the very quiet and peaceful lake and enjoyed the views! "Property was excellent. The check in / out process was smooth and easy. The main living area was well set up. We spent a great deal of time chatting around the bar and table in the open concept set up, as well as on the spacious deck. "We stayed here for our Birthday weekend to go side by siding. 9 adults, we were going to being our dog but decided not to at the last minute. Had we done it, this property was more than prepared! There was a massive crate on site and dog bowls! Love it! But not a dog hair in sight! The views are breathtaking. You can sit on the porch and have your coffee and watch the sunrise over the water and listento the birds. Everything is so clean and there is plenty of room for everyone. Close to town but...

"We woke up to spectacular views of the lake and went to sleep after seeing a sky full of stars. This is a warm, clean cabin with all the necessities of home with the exception of WiFi. While the tv works, I couldn’t get any channels on it, however, this is the type of place where we unplugged and unwound!!! Short backwoods drive to Gulf Hagas for a great hike and 10 minutes to Greenville and Moosehead Lake. Highly recommended!!!"

"The wife and I and our fur baby Handsome Hank has a fantastic stay here . Only issue we had is the outdoor kitchen needs some work on the counter. We arrived too fresh cut flowers on the table.
