"The staff was amazing. The view of the Sedona mountains were spectacular. You could see them from your patio/ balcony. The place was cute inside with shops directly across the walk way. The only thing I could complain about was the carpet by the door was stained and I’m a clean freak. The location was great and the grounds were very well taken care of."

"The property has short trail hike with a beautiful view at both sunrise and sunset. Also, the Continental breakfast was one of the best in my opinion. It was also very conveniently located near many of the Trailheads or shuttle stops. We were able to borrow a Polaroid camera for some candid photos and had an amazing dinner at Mole, the on site restaurant! I would ALWAYS stay at Arabella when returning to Sedona!"

"I have never stayed at a better hotel. The staff were beyond helpful and so kind! I stayed in the Moondance room and had the patio/balcony to myself. When visiting Sedona, this will now be the only place I stay!"

"It was what my wife and I needed. It was relaxing and complete amenities. We saw a Mexican Blue Jay, hummingbird and rabbit. I was lucky to a Roadrunner. All this from balcony. Parking was accessible. The bedroom was so comfortable that we slept through the night followed by being energetic for our trail adventures and shopping experience. We grew fond of the property and surrounding Sedona. We will are planning to return again."

"Great place to stay, historically designed architecture and interior furnishings. Would definitely stay at the El Portal again. Small inn that has guest access to the resort next door pool and spa which we took advantage of. "
