Aloha is a Hawaiian greeting used both to greet and say goodbye. The aloha spirit embodies warmth, friendship and a spirit of good will. We have tried to incorporate this spirit into our home for the enjoyment of all our guests. Swim, fish and go kayaking right from the dock in your back yard on the cleanest lake east of the rocky mountains. This beautiful home in a gated community boasts five bedrooms each with its own full bath and family rooms upstairs and down that have large flat screen tv's with service by Directv. This is an ideal vacation getaway for families or small groups. Lake Auman is a one thousand acre lake with outstanding fishing and clear, fresh water. Fish and swim right from your own dock or launch your kayak if you like. If you like to golf, Pinehurst is only 15 minutes away as are many other top notch golf courses. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood, but it is close to shopping and other attractions. In spite of its convenient, prime location, the area is home to many bird species. You may even see a Bald Eagle as it passes to or from its nearby nest. The home was completed in 2013 and built to take advantage of the beautiful lake views from every room. Upstairs has two bedrooms, two baths, a family room, kitchen, dining area and a Carolina room. Downstairs has three bedrooms, three and one half baths and a family room. There is a large deck upstairs and a lake level patio downstairs. Please look at all of the pictures and feel free to contact the owner with any questions. You will want to return for years to come. This home is available on a monthly or seasonal basis. Rates may vary based on length of stay.

Lake life at its finest!!!

This property is an absolute gem on a calm lake with incredible views. The house has it all, is functional and comfortable and our family of four had the best visit to Lake Auman. Larry is responsive on all fronts and promptly addressed issues and questions. We will be back to this amazing house. Thank you!!!

Wonderful Lakefront Vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. The location is great - on a quiet cove near the entrance. The house is immaculate with many amenities. Each of the five bedrooms has its own full bath. The kitchen contains more various appliances, utensils, and serving dishes than ours at home! The views of the lake from almost every room are incredible! We had coffee on the back deck and then kayaked each morning. Later in the day, we swam in the clear water and played games on the large back lawn. The owner gave us detailed information, responded quickly to questions, and was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to be able to vacation there again.

A great house in a great location!

The accommodations were great. The house was very clean everything was very up-to-date. We enjoyed canoeing, fishing, and swimming in the lake. We were in the area for the US Kids Golf World Championship and all the courses were very accessible from Seven Lakes.

The property was perfect; I couldn't ask for a nicer, cleaner place.

This was a family get together that we do once a year. With the excellent accommodations, spectacular view of the lake, great dock and deck for coffee in the morning, what more could you ask for! A total of eight adults and two teenagers and we hardly left the place; so much to do. Swimming, paddle boating, kayaking, and lots of bocce ball and we never felt crowded!My wife and I played some tennis at the community center; a community center I might add that has a great pool, library, and play center for small children. One son in law plays golf and happened to play one course that he said, "was one of the prettiest he's ever played on". If your looking for a great place for a large family you found it! Harry & Tina

Great House, Great Location

This is a great house for a family vacation. There is plenty of room, all the amenities you will need, and a dock out back for your lounging/swimming pleasure. We can't wait to make a return trip. Cheers!

Perfect house and setting

The house is beautiful; nicely decorated with very comfortable furniture. The house has all you would need- lots of kitchen items. The 5 bedrooms are well situated to allow for privacy, and the house was VERY clean. The cove and main lake views are beautiful and relaxing, and the perfect place for small children to swim and play because the cove is about wake zone. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous home and lake

We were delighted by the beauty of the home and lake. We selected Lake Auman because of family and lucked into finding a brand new home and picturesque setting. We spent many hours swimming in the clean lake water and my teen age son and husband enjoyed fishing from the dock as well as kayaking out to deeper waters. The home has just about everything you could hope for in the kitchen. The washer and dryer were easy to figure out. The layout of the home affords privacy to each bedroom and the deck is a wonderful spot to enjoy in the mornings. The views of the lake out each window is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders and especially the brown-headed nuthatches with their rubber duck squeak. If you have your own boat - you need to be sure you are authorized to put it in the lake before you rent this home if that is important. It is a gated community and there are rules regarding who can put in a boat at the marina. (Our nephew who is building a home in the complex was not able to put his boat in and let it be at our home). The owners responded to any questions very promptly. We hope to vacation here again.
