"The young men monitoring the front desk and the dining facilities were the best! Very helpful with assistance in what was needed.The hotel was close enough to the town centre but was on a slope. The room was very clean, but the bed was also on a slight slope- that was fixed by inserting a pillow under the mattress. "Home now after a very enjoyable weekend stay at The Imperial Hotel to celebrate a friend’s birthday and retirement. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made us and our friends feel very welcome and not like we were ‘just another guest’. We ate in both the restaurant and bar area and the meals were a good size and tasty. Breakfast was plentiful with gluten free and milk alternatives available upon request.
