"Not too bad for an expensive hotel"

"A socer team was staying on the 1st floor. As the parents hung out in the breakfast area the kids were running up and down the hall going in and out of each other rooms and being extremely loud. After 10 pm I asked the front desk to ask the parents to control their kids. That worked for about 5 minutes then about 10 kids moved into the room next door. At 1115 the kids were still out of control so I went to the front desk and asked the new desk attendant to talk to the parents who were still in...

"The hotel is clean but tired - hallway carpeting is worn - desk chair in our room was worn and needed replacing - water dispenser in lobby needs replacing - staff is excellent and housekeeping very adequate"

"BE CAUTIOUS!! I was in a rush and accidentally scanned my key on the door next to mine, and it worked… thankfully they had the door lock hooked, but my key worked for my room and the person next to me. I had room 238 and my key worked for 236 as well. I asked the front desk and even reprogramming key didn’t fix the issue. Very unsafe and not worth the price for having an unsecured room."

"Great location, easy to walk downtown from there. Breakfast was pretty decent and plenty of parking. I’d absolutely stay there again. Only down side was if neighboring rooms leave their bathroom fan on overnight, you definitely hear it."

"Such a cute hotel! The staff was very polite, the lobby and exterior are ornate, and the room had a small balcony with a great view overlooking downtown and some of the nearby landscape. The room wasn't ready until almost an hour and a half after check in time, but once we got access to the room everything was clean and looked well maintained, including the very comfortable and plush bed. "This place is a scam. The room we had cost $354.00 and was a small attic, with old cheap jungle stuff lying around. No AC, No windows that opened, and one window you can look out, nothing like the pictures showed, NOTHING. Breakfast was 45min late, in the morning we could not find anyone who we could speak with, that didn't need a translator app. This felt like a room where a John would take their trick, except as expensive as the Grand America. Horrible place."
