El amplio y luminoso salón / comedor ofrece muchos asientos y es un excelente lugar para reunirse. La gran cocina bien equipada con lavavajillas facilita la preparación de comidas. Un porche trasero cerrado hace una bonita sala de juegos para los niños. El porche cubierto con vistas al agua y al jardín es un lugar encantador para disfrutar de un cóctel o leer un buen libro. Es un minuto caminando por el sendero de escalones de piedra y cruzando el campo hasta la playa, donde puede deleitarse con la caza de vidrio marino o disfrutar de un baño en el flotador de la comunidad. This house is rustic and very "Maine" - the view from the porch is incredible - pictures don't do it justice. We found the location super convenient to visiting everything that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect weekend in the most perfect house. Loved the location with a pathway right to the beach and great views of the sunset from the porch. Close to town. Would love to come back!

Great family vacation spot!

We had children and grandchildren all coming from out of state and the property was perfect for us! The grandchildren were young but all seemed to like the "bunkroom". Views were beautiful and the beach access was great. We would stay here again for sure!

Rustic Maine Cabin

Cozy and charming. The cabin is in a nice Location. We were here in Sept and it was a little cold so no water sports (it looks like a great place for that). Wendy is great and easy to communicate with.

Peaceful Family Vacation

We had an amazing time celebrating my mom's 60th birthday at the Stuart Little cottage. It brought back so many memories of my own childhood in Boothbay Harbor and I know my parents will cherish the new memories we made with my small nephews. The cottage was in a gorgeous and quiet neighborhood overlooking the water. We met a few neighbors who were so friendly and welcoming and gave us great pointers about where to go during our stay. I wouldn't consider it super walkable to downtown, especially with the little ones as it was off a main road, but it was a very quick drive to the heart of Boothbay. The house was fully stocked with many amenities I hadn't even expected. The washer and dryer were especially awesome. Judy was exceptionally helpful during check-in and helped us locate everything we needed to get comfortable. I hope they will have us back for many summers to come!

Mediocre

We had a lovely time in Maine. The area around the home is absolutely breathtaking. However, the home could have been better. The beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped but the living area was awful. There was no comfortable seating in the living room. The dining table was so wobbly that we couldn't use it to eat at. The outdoor furniture is in bad shape including another wobbly table and chairs. There could have been more towels for showering instead of having to do laundry every other day and lastly there was a wasp nest nearby. They were swarming around the deck and several got in the house. My daughter and my grandson were both stung. I give it a 4 out of 10. Best part was the view
